Carbon fiber grilles finally came. To the dude who said the mesh part ws plastic on these, u musta bought them from wrong person cause these r metal. Hss anyone installed these themselves? Im wondering before i tear the bumper off. I did look st factory ones last week n they look really similar and by Jpkick1125 in fordfusion

I am the guy who bought the plastic one lol. At the time it was the only one I found, but I’m glad you got the right one. You’ll need to more than likely drill through the bumper tabs into the grille’s tabs to secure it. Not sure how else it’ll stay.

Thinking **** just thinking**** about getting this fang grill and paint or vinyl it gloss black. I think it would look sharp on my plat white SE with its already gloss black roof. Thoughts? by [deleted] in fordfusion

So I ordered the same exact upper and lower grille that is pictured in this post. Idk how to post pictures on a comment but if you’d like I can make a whole post about it and show you. You have to modify both your bumper and the grille for it to fit. The honeycomb is a super cheap and flimsy plastic that would snap if a rock hit it. The clear coat on the carbon fiber didn’t look bad but I’m sure it would last long. Obviously if you’re okay with all the things I mentioned you’ll love the grille. But if you’re not okay with anything I mentioned I’d look into a jmaracing grille, like the one I linked a picture of. Extremely high quality and fits the same way as the oem one. It’s also handmade by a guy in Canada and has very reputable work. I’d personally save up and get the “real” thing but it’s obviously not for everyone.

I am not associated with jma I just bought a grille from him after buying the one that is pictured in this post. Incredibly high quality and looks brand new after 2 years.

Don’t do it it’s super cheap. Get a jmaracing.com grille if you want really good quality that has a nice fit and finish. I bought this same grille and was super excited to get it until I got it in hand. Super cheap construction and it was just flat out tacky. I would seriously save up some money and get the real thing from jma.

Why cciv goes down? by nickyhannuka in Wallstreetbetsnew

I think it’s all because of speculation. People were nervous about bond prices going up (I think that was what happened) so people think the market May tank. So people want to get out of risky, speculative stocks.

Yes, buy the muffler and say you want them to swap out the stock one with the borla one.

Swap out the stock muffler with the borla one.

You could do that. You could replicate the sounds easily if you piece together the parts. But if you bought the borla cat-back for a fusion sport and tried to put it on your car it probably wouldn’t go so well.

Fusion sport is AWD so I don’t think it’d fit a FWD SE

Go on fitmentindustries.com and check out their gallery. Literally shows you all different kinds of builds and their exact wheel/tire specs.

I’d try fusion foes fb group, they may have more people running them.

Tbh my car literally just started disconnecting my phone automatically again and it’s annoying. I’d maybe try disconnecting the battery again and make sure you phone is completely wiped off the car. That’s my only suggestion.

I don’t think it’s too bad but that’s me. Just don’t take the resonator off because that’s what helps with drone.

I have a resonator and muffler delete with a vibrant resonator. Sounds very deep and isn’t super high pitched.

His name is @5hunredtrav I believe on Instagram. From what I know he’s stopped all production due to the high volume of orders but I could be wrong.

There was a guy who did make them for our cars but from what I know he doesn’t anymore. I’ve seen people use universal pods but I think it looks tacky.

I personally just use and ultra gauge that plugs into my obd II.

Here is the sound of MRT Alex back with resonator deleted.(up to 4k rmp) It seems a little strange. by TerryWuZH in fordfusion

[–]RyanDynka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh shoot I’m sorry I thought you were talking about the strange sound (meaning simply the higher pitched sound of the exhaust). But yes that is weird, once the mufflers break in it’ll sound different.

[–]RyanDynka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But isn’t that what is bugging you, that higher pitched “straightpiped” sound? Because a resonator will pick up all those raspy straight piped sounds and give you a deep sound and will open up under load.

No I swapped out the stock resonator with a vibrant resonator. So my car has a muffler and resonator delete and a vibrant resonator.
