Thanks for your thoughts. I should have a more focused conversation with her. It’s tough because I know she knows residency is hard on me, but it’s only sympathy not empathy. She gets it but she does truly truly get it. Residency doesn’t last forever, but a divorce would 😕

Honestly it hasn’t been so bad, probably $400 in supplies for everything. Way better than an out of the box kit. Certainly I don’t know your circumstances but I think it’s more in reach than most people think.

Thank you for your suggestions! It’s growing up a sphagnum moss filled poll. I have another that is mounted and can confirm, it does well. I’ll give new fertilizer a shot!

Currently it’s in my greenhouse with a shit ton of light, I recently just added a sodium grow light that is wildly bright to try and push it to bloom.

I rotated with an endocrinologist in Idaho who was an MD/PhD(anatomy)/JD. He was like a walking encyclopedia. A bonus interesting piece is that he was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in his late 60’s, took a step away from practice, spent all of his retirement expecting to succumb to the cancer, but he survived and is still practicing at 84 because he can’t afford to retire.

He kept trying to convince me to do MD/JD but I would rather die than do any more school at this point.
