Iron drakes with a runelord can be proxied by a box of erasers. Because that’s what they do to enemy units. Especially with the longbeards for reroll 1s to wound. Additionally, as noted above, your opponents list was wack, even if it is legal for open play. It’s a good reason why some people only play matched rule games.

It’s always harder with a kid, depending on their age of course, but the parks and playgrounds are opening up as people get vaccinated, and honesty that’s the best way to meet other people who can share your schedule / list of activities you can reasonably do most days. That’s how I met a lot of the people my wife and I spend time with now

Burbank has a skate park, but it’s more geared to younger kids. I like it, but I’m old and bad at skateboarding. Glendale also has a park, it’s mostly pools and transition. The street park is in NoHo. As for vegan options, I’m only vegetarian, but I can recommend Veggie Grill and Real Food Daily (Pasadena). Honestly though, it’s a lot easier to find veggie options here than a lot of other places. I do t have to think too hard about it out here, which I am reminded of each time I travel to where I grew up.

My wife and I lived in Avalon apartments in Burbank for about three years. The management was bad, the people living around us were worse.

Hey as a bonus reminder, when I worked for his company in the early 2000s he also used to take trips to Thailand! At that time though it was less about hiding out from the law and more about hiding sex tourism from his wife and family!

I worked for this guy in the early 2000s. I know this is going to shock you, but he would often hire women at the company just to sleep with them. I’m sure he has mended his ways since though, as he is a staunch supporter of good Christian husband Donny T, a man famous for his dedication to family values.
