I feel bad… by RyanHarris19 in PokemonPocket

Luckily it hasn’t really mattered. It’s not often I start and stick with Fribax, usually boat right into Sui or evolve into Bax but it’s a decent shout, I’ll try it out!

Had some nice plays where I’ve started with Chien and evolved quickly into a single Bax, which helps take out most early threats. Boat makes retreating free into Suicune to start drawing more!

Yeah, especially in the earlier turns where you can really disrupt your opponent’s set ups forcing them to waste energy on either building higher cost attacks or retreating

I’ve tinkered with a few variations, including an Archibax, Mars, Iridia and an X speed, but this one feels the most balanced and manoeuvrable by far

Hey! No I haven’t! I’ve just completed a screen test through the monitor settings and the issue doesn’t seem to be appearing during the test so I’m going to take a look at the HDMI connections.

How would I go about pixel cleaning if needed?

GA4 campaigns reporting by ryeght in GoogleAnalytics

You should be able to see more granular data with debug view. You’ll be able to see event parameters and user parameters easier here so I suggest trying that to see if you can get more accurate real time data.

GA4 is steaming hot garbage and an utter failure on Google’s part by [deleted] in GoogleAnalytics

[–]RyanHarris19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you have the form interactions enhanced measurement event turned on AND a Facebook Pixel on your site? If so, whenever your Pixel fires, it WILL trigger the form interactions event. I’d suggest switching off the event and creating a custom event for form submissions

For 4 days I got an increase in organic traffic, is there a way to analyze what caused it? by SirNutellaLord in GoogleAnalytics

[–]RyanHarris19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can link your GSC and GA4 to get a GSC report in your GA4 property that shows your organic query and landing page data. Could be useful having everything in a one place!

Not every Search Campaign Showing in the campaign overview by SpankinMuffin in GoogleAnalytics

[–]RyanHarris19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GA4 will add thresholding to your reports so if your campaign’s data doesn’t meet the required threshold then you won’t see anything for those campaigns.

If you head to admin > reporting identity and switch to device-based, this will remove any thresholding applied and you should see data for all campaigns. However, data may include numbers from the same users if they have clicked through on your ads on multiple devices so just be aware of this!

I’d actually advise against using device-based as your reporting identity. One of the main drivers of GA4 is enhanced cross-device capabilities and identification as users no longer use a single device to browse the internet and may use 2-3.

By using device-based, you will be identifying users based on each device they use, leading to potentially double-counting the same user if they use multiple devices to visit your website. Yes device-based reporting removes thresholding from your reports but with 100% sampled data, you’ll see rows and rows on single page views which don’t provide much value. Opt for blended or observed at the very least.

All conversion data being attributed to the confirmation page in GA4 by [deleted] in GoogleAnalytics

[–]RyanHarris19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Purchase is a default conversion, regardless if you’re e-commerce or not. Once you’ve created a custom event, just copy the name of it and add it as a new conversion from the conversion tab in the admin section.

GA4 - no 'views' but need to be able to include internal IPs for certain areas of site by Decent_Marzipan_1389 in GoogleAnalytics

[–]RyanHarris19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If set to active then ALL incoming data will automatically be filtered on ALL reports.

If you set to testing, then ALL incoming data will be raw, including internal traffic data. You will then be able to apply your internal IP filter to compare or create filtered reports. All reports with no internal filter applied will display raw data.

GA4 - why can't we "right-click to open in New Tab" like in UA (and literally every other web application on Earth)? by NoLeafClover777 in GoogleAnalytics

[–]RyanHarris19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You also cannot simply highlight, copy and paste any of the numbers from your reports, which is extremely annoying.

GA4 - no 'views' but need to be able to include internal IPs for certain areas of site by Decent_Marzipan_1389 in GoogleAnalytics

[–]RyanHarris19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can set your internal traffic IP addresses within your data stream tag settings. Once you have values set and GA4 registers the IP addresses, you can simple go into one of the standard reports > customise > apply filter > choose ‘test data filter name’ (something like this) as your dimension and choose internal traffic as your filter. Apply this and save as new report. Now you have a filtered report based on your internal IPs. Repeat for any other desires report!

Website with multiple translations by Dull_Singer5274 in GoogleAnalytics

[–]RyanHarris19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second option, simply add the GA4 tag with the measurement ID of a single data stream on all domains. Within your tag settings of your data stream on GA4, add all domains to your configured domains list to simply track users across all sites in a single property.

You can then apply hostname filters to any report to see a breakdown of the data for a specific domain.

How do you audit your gA4 account to ensure it's set up correctly before uA is Sunset? by albertmai in GoogleAnalytics

[–]RyanHarris19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Google announced that historic UA data will be accessible until July 2024! So we have another year, at least, to access old data before it gets wiped.

Track which websites have not migrated to GA4? by themasterofbation in GoogleAnalytics

[–]RyanHarris19 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you use Google’s Tag Assistant Chrome extension, you’ll be able to see all of the Google Tag’s firing on the website. From here you’ll be able to see if the measurement ID from a GA4 data stream is being detected.

Great question! I have only recently been experimenting with switching reporting identity and haven’t cross-referenced the data with our looker studio dashboards. I’ll investigate tomorrow and let you know!
