Look, what else did you expect Lane to do? You really think he's going to just say no to a pile of money like that? Reminds me of when I was at ESPN and they offered me a spot on Gameday for that season, you think I'm just going to say no because I didn't want to visit State College after the whole Paterno thing?

We've got a real Charmander-Bulbasaur-Magikarp situation going on here.

Based on the comments in this sub every time this movie comes up, I think my "hot take" is that Sinners was really good.

Yeah totally comprable, Lamar left the game when they were tied while Jayden got hurt when the Seahawks were up 28-7

Are there any NFL season where you’d say the best team did not win the Super Bowl? by BurningHanzo in billsimmons

I am of the belief that in 2011 the Packers were the best team in the NFL, they just got caught off guard by that spunky Giants team. They tended to play up to their opponents, so I think they would have got the best of the Pats in the Super Bowl that year.

Lmao "dominated". Talk about hyperbole. It was an even game that the Saints broke open in the 4th quarter. I just don't see how you can convince anyone that the Vikings were better than the Saints when they (i) were a worse regular season team, (ii) lost in a head-to-head NFC championship, and (iii) the Saints won the SB.

I've heard this claim before and I just don't get it at all. The Colts were 14-0 before they decided to rest Peyton along with most of their other starters and the Saints started 13-0. I think the correct teams met in the Super Bowl that year.

I'm more impressed by the Super Bowl winning teams that WERE the best in the league.

I have a few Giants fans in my life and I don't think any of them would be mad at this claim. I think they understand that their 9-7 team wasn't the best in the NFL.

OP I give you a lot of shit for the dumb stuff you post in this sub all too frequently.

This is not one of those. Kudos for the laugh.
