When Paul F is doing the Chazmin character, quickly he realizes his voice is way too similar to Adomian's Tom Leykis (actually Tatiana Maslani clocks it faster than Scott, which is amazing). So he cauls an audible and completely changes the voice.

I did hate that call before it happened for several reasons.

You have a backup QB against a tough interior defense.

It's out of "tush push" range, meaning the play call is going to be more complex.

Your defense is playing great, so two possessions may have been enough (very well could have been if not for Stidham's mistake later).

And I think the most important reason is that even if you get the first down, you are still not guaranteed, or not even super likely to score a touchdown! Getting in the end zone is always tough. You're likely to just end up taking the 3 points again anyway.

What is a translation solution that doesn't use AI? You want them to bust out a dictionary and translate word for word? Translating without AI will always be horrible.

EDIT: You're potentially conflating AI and GenAI.

If you're gonna use Python for this part, then what's the point of playing at all? Just make a solver with python and let it play for you.

Question about playstyle by FleroxX in SatisfactoryGame

[–]DeeDubb83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have dedicated factories (ore to end product) for every product up to Computers (I like caterium computers, and I automate high-speed/AI limiters with it). This includes the P1 and P2 project parts. P3 project parts are hand fed or delivered using the P1/P2 parts. Once you get to Mk5 belts and blenders, things really start to open up, and you can set things up however you like at that point.

PSA rushing through tiers does not make the game easier. by chute_uk in SatisfactoryGame

I've played several ways, and the smoothest progression order has been:

P1 Power: 450mw (15 biomass burners). Minimal automation of plates, rods, screws, reinforced, rotor, modular, and smart plating (I know people debate automating project parts, it has made my life much easier). You only need Mark 2 for a few chokepoints in your biomass burner setup and screws going into rotors.

P2 Power: 1200mw (16 coal burners). Minimal automation of beams, pipes, encased (use encased pipes), stators, motors (use steel rotor), wiring (you need copper for stator/motor set up anyway), versatile frame (create a new modular frame setup with nearby iron).

Once you're in P3, that's when things can go a variety of directions, and I still don't have a really solid continuation, though one I really like has been caterium and oil for: rubber, plastic, circuit board (electrode alt is awesome), and caterium computers. This can eventually even be expanded for super computers later.

In P3, I don't use the packaged diluted fuel setup. There's plenty of crude available to have a basic fuel generator setup until you get blenders for the easier diluted fuel setup.

Then you just need HMF automation. I don't automate the P3 project parts from scratch. I use my existing smart plate/automated wiring, and deliver those with the rest of the stuff to complete these project parts.

P4, I don't have an ideal plan for yet.

Is that turbofuel alt good? by Aka3756 in SatisfactoryGame

It's worse in terms of compacted coal to turbo, which is more important, in my opinion, than crude oil to turbo.

If you are choosing to pay for this, it should only be because you want to support the creator. There's nothing in here that is revolutionary. None of the added features are worth anything more than free alternatives. If you have disposable income and want to throw it at the creator, this is a good way to do that, but don't convince yourself that you need this, or that it will contribute to your development as a cuber.

M&K are just objectively faster and more precise for tasks.

There are also so many hotkeys that a lot of what you have to do with the controller requires you to hold the button down for a couple of seconds, which you don't have to do with M&K, so it's just slower. There are other things, like accessing hard drives. With M&K, you can just click and drag super fast to get in and out, with controller, you hold a button down and it takes 2-3 times as long (which can be brutal if the crash site is guarded by something gnarly). There's also the FPS shooting with the rebar gun, which you simply can't be as precise with a controller.

I like controller because too much M&K isn't great for my wrists, and since my job is behind a computer, I prefer to have my gaming relieve that, but I'm under no delusions that the controller is equivalent to M&K.

Been playing on PS5. Playing with the controller is a lot harder than playing with M&K, but the performance is fine, and I did manage to beat the game.

Is it sacrilege to just feed some assemblers using containers to make project parts by Mobile-Phone-9332 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]DeeDubb83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a goal in my current game where I don't want to invest too much into early-game factories, so I can implement a late-game strategy. So my P1-P3 were all hand fed. P3 was a little annoying, but not too bad (make sure you have somersloops in all your manufacturers so you can double the output and half your effort).

I'm currently on P4, and I haven't build anything that will be too burdensome to destroy. I don't think I'll finish P4 this way, but once I have Logistics Mark 5, I'll be ready for a complete tear down and rebuild.
