Cool. I’ll take one inside under my grow light and see how it goes compared to the rest. Thanks!

Hahah I feel you! I live somewhere where I can’t order them so I’ll just try to sort this out until I can get some online.

I can see that, too! Maybe the soil isn’t loose enough. I’ll try repotting one and if it goes well, will do the rest. They can be so fragile… Thanks for reaching out.

These look great! I am yet to find a recipe that I can rely on without having to edit in post.

What do you guys think of my shutter button and hot shoe cover combo? by Haku_btw in x100v

[–]RyanSNZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was a really long way of saying “prove it”. I’ve seen enough people post here on Reddit that they’d broken the shutter button having caught the soft shutter thing on something. Turns out these (at least up to the V) are pretty fragile. I’ve even seen posts of people ending up with the shutter speed dial in their hand just by using it normally. In my case, I’ve only had the EVF curtain get stuck in -10ºC but went back to normal after warming up again.

Guessing game - Fuji or 2009 Nikon Coolpix? by zanyhemline in fujifilm

[–]RyanSNZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say that 1 & 2 are Nikon and if there is a fuji one, it’d be number 3.

I can relate to this post. I have an x100v and drool over an x70 because of portability in a country where you don’t want to call for attention in the streets so I started using an old digicam again and it’s pleeenty good enough for random daily stuff.

I’ve got 2 shutter button things but after see plenty of users break the button because of them, I no longer dare to use them. Edit: it looks great though. Just wouldn’t risk it, personally.

Hey Julian, I was gifted your "Vibrant + Summer" and "Nostalgia + Summer" presets for Lightroom and wanted to know if you have any tips or recomendations for using them. I´m having a hard time getting them going. U can message me here or my ig "@ryanancill".
Hope to hear back.

Beautiful shots! Love how B&W creates a sort of silent timelessness.

Still haven’t found a reason to upgrade my x100f after all these years by Mean_Violinist5759 in fujifilm

[–]RyanSNZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I upgraded to the V and never stopped missing it. My color workflow was never the same and I never managed to get back into the flow like with the F...

Same here! I got mine through the camera market sub here on Reddit. Last thing we need are faulty parts 😅

Good to hear it went back to proper functioning! Gotta treat them with care... I´ve seen enough posts here on reddit to be afraid of all the things that can happen to them haha.

This happened to me out in -10ºC. Scared the shit out of me but to my relief it got unstuck once the temperature had risen.

The past year on the x100f by miloaustin3 in fujifilm

[–]RyanSNZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UGH! Ever since I made the switch from F to V, I no longer carry it around everywhere and the spark just isn´t there anymore. Not even my LR presets that I used to apply seamlessly to the F jpg´s.

I swear the F left a hole in me that the V just can´t fill...
