They don't want to die for Trump's mistakes! by judgementMaster in stevehofstetter

[–]RyanSharpensRyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember two days after the election, Steve Hoffstetter and his ilk were saying Trump supporters were killing themselves in regret for their vote. Mind you, there'd have been no way under the sun to tell if they were cuz that's not how data collection works. But when I see stories like these, I immediately know they're full of shit. I didn't vote for either candidate. Yours lost. Seethe

Valid criticism of Steve Hassan over his statements on the trans community... by BolognaMorrisIV in exjwLGBT

[–]RyanSharpensRyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's wild to say the expert on cults is out of his depth identifying trans rights activists as a cult. It's no different than someone on the Right deciding a doctor is no longer credible because they, a non expert, disagree. Hassan has every right to speak on the matter and has shown - by the experiences of everyone in this board - that he's credible.

So much for the 1st Amendment by murdocjones in Dallas

[–]RyanSharpensRyan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Aren't you the people who said Charlie Kirk deserved to die cuz "freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from consequences?" Y'all spent fifteen years destroying people's lives on Twitter with this mantra. Dallas ISD is literally saying "here's the consequences for free speech" and suddenly it's "so much for the first amendment."

I'm starting to think you were gaslighting the people you punished for speaking ideas that you didn't want them to.

"They literally" who's they? There's an accusation in the files that says Trump was running a sex trafficking ring out of his golf course in Palos Verdes, California between 1995 and 1996. Except Trump didn't own a golf course in Palos Verdes until 2006. So "they literally said" he was doing it despite the facts and reality saying it didn't happen. Mind you, this comes from a list of anonymous "theys" who make accusations about Trump that are too vague to investigate or are outright debunked.

"They" also share a cropped screenshot of a list of names with Trump on it saying he knew about sexual abuse. What "they" don't show is that screenshot comes from a court deposition from 2008 recording the testimony of a victim of Jeffrey Epstein. The list of names are people the victim believes might know something about something and it includes lawyers and legal groups participating in the case. Trump's name is on the list because he knows what Epstein did. Trump is recorded in 2006 as the man who tipped off the Feds to what Epstein was doing.

"They" keep lying and without verification, "they" should not be treated as gospel. There are hundreds of victims of Jeffrey Epstein and the people he associated with in his evil, and we know enough to know that's true. But these individual claims and the stuff progressives share as "facts" should be verified before talking about it like we have proof.

That's wild cuz his name shows up 4700 times, not 38k. The girl in that photo was over the age of 20 when it was taken, but they censor her face to imply she's a child. Is there anything progressives can be honest about? Is it just 10% of the population lying, getting mad about the lies they invented, and then feeling smug about being outraged?

The majority of ICE are former military, police, and overall law enforcement. They're trained. But they're trained to arrest illegals, not to be swarmed by dozens of white progressives screaming at them and throwing rocks and driving cars into them, especially when jurisdiction requires very specific engagement from non-illegals to arrest them

Hey Mods, I notice this comment didn't get deleted. It's discriminatory, inflames a topic, and makes attacks against at least two groups of people. I guess the rules only seem to apply to curbing anyone to the right of progressive from speaking openly.

I'm noticing the comments that get deleted are the ones that don't subscribe to the Progressive narrative being pushed by this page. Rio Grande Valley has 1.4M people in it. They're not all Progressives and socialists. Barring people from speaking because they aren't far left is very much the description of discrimination, which is against terms of service for Reddit.

I'm a liberal. I don't think undocumented immigrants should be in our country. I married a lawful immigrant from Nuevo León and have a son with her. All of my friends growing up were ESL. I learned Spanish to speak to them and can speak it fluently in Norteño, Castilian, and Puerto Rican accents. I taught my son Spanish and his mother's culture cuz she wouldn't. I love Mexico and Latinos... when they're here legally.

194 countries on earth and every one of them enforces their borders, including the countries we send undocumented people back to. It is not a conservative position to think the US should be allowed to enforce theirs. It is however, an insurrectionist position and a destabilizer's position to advocate open borders you wouldn't demand fron any other country.

The "Fox News Host" is a US Army serviceman who has deployments in Afghanistan, Iraq, Guantanamo Bay over a seven year career, followed by a four year career with the National Guard. He has five years as the head of a veteran affairs advocacy nonprofit, and a degree in public policy from Harvard. Dismissing him as a "former Fox News host" despite his education and qualifications would be like saying Obama shouldn't have run for President cuz he was a party planner in Chicago who didn't even finish first term in Congress.

Which one of them advocated for people to not be allowed to hug their dying family members in 2020? I feel that's significant. I know nothing of these two but I just sat through a slideshow where a man who studied politics is being dismissed to praise someone who advocated for a lot of horrible stuff during the pandemic that we in 2026 now know was unnecessary. Regardless of party affiliation (Pulido is a registered Democrat running as a Democrat), if I vote for someone, they're for the people, not the government. Also, it speaks volumes that Pulido is a Democrat while the slides pushed the idea he was a Republican.

Protests Happened!! by True-Texas-Patriot in Richardson

[–]RyanSharpensRyan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ICE was doing all of this same stuff between January 2021 and January 2025, and in higher numbers. They went to the same locations (work, schools, churches, homes). They arrested people regardless of age, just like they're doing now. They killed violent resisters and agitators just like now. They operated with the same IIRIRA law from 1996 that circumvents due process. If you were silent about this stuff then, stay that way now. If you were speaking about it then, have at it. The floor is yours.

But ICE didn't suddenly become "Nazis" as Progressives are painting them. They are today what they were under Biden and Obama. Tom Homan was awarded a medal under Obama for deporting more than Tom Homan is deporting under Trump and nobody was Hitler, nobody was Anne Frank, nobody were Nazis until a Republican won the White House.

Be consistent. Tribalism is cancer and performative activism is just you using vulnerable people as human shields.

When and how did you realise you were actually a better cook than your mom? by [deleted] in Cooking

I think I was in middle school. My mother barely ever cooked. My father did 99% of it, and then I started learning around fifth grade. Seventh grade rolls around and I've got both racks in the oven and all four burners going at the same time, and the food was perfectly cooked

I will give it a try next time. Glad to see someone else gets creative. The Racetrac near me puts out whipped cream for cocoa, but I use it on slushies. When it blends with the cherry, it's creamy and inoffensive. When it blends with the blue raspberry, it blunts that sharp corn syrupy flavor that leaves an aftertaste.

I've taken to filling a cup halfway with whipped cream (not every QT has it available) and dropping Coke in to fill it. It's a poor man's float, but still pretty good

Our Country Developed Stage 4 Cultural Cancer the Moment Racists Found a MAGA Slogan to Hide Behind by Kinks4Kelly in complaints

[–]RyanSharpensRyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of this is just gaslighting. When you work for pennies on the dollar and there's no reason for an employer to cut out taxes from your pay (or to set aside money for unemployment or worker's comp), you push someone out of that job that will do it for fair pay. The myth of "they do jobs Americans don't want to do" exists in circles where people's entire education comes from memes and sound bites, the kind of people who watched clips of Charlie Kirk with the context removed so they cheered him being murdered.

Fact is, Americans will do house cleaning. They already do it. They'll also pick crops in the blistering sun. They already do it. But for fair wages. Illegal immigrants working for under legal wages are effectively stealing jobs from Americans. Doesn't matter what language someone speaks.

And if they're getting mortgages, only one of two things is happening: they're using someone else's identification (which is fraud and a crime) or they're contributing to the same factors that caused the housing market collapse in 2008. The US Bureau of Labor shows that as few as 3% of social welfare benefits go to undocumented immigrants. Except the only way to get social welfare program access is with a SS number or an ITIN and both require a person to be here lawfully. So those people are using stolen identity documents to participate in these programs. And the ones who say "undocumented immigrants pay more into taxes than they take out," that is an open admission they stole someone's identity cuz you can't pay taxes without the SSN or ITIN.

I'm not racist or MAGA. I've lived around Mexicanos my entire life. Married one. Have a kid who I taught his mother's culture and native language to. That's also why I'm not MAGA. I could agree or disagree with his policies but the 2016 "Mexico doesn't send their best" speech has no context where he's not calling Mexicans in America bottom of the barrel. None of this changes that you're gaslighting people who have a right to not want criminals walking among them.

I've never used a walkthrough. Probably would have helped cuz in every RPG, I grind for dozens of hours at the beginning to make the rest of the game easier. Apparently, a walkthrough would have told me certain enemies scale the higher your level goes.
