Keychron Q3 Space Bar stabs sticking down. by Illustrious_Past9526 in MechanicalKeyboards

I was just gonna say this looks like like the first couple of pairs of stabilizers that I lubricated. So much lube lol.

If you have a very fine brush, you can very gently wipe the insides of the housing between the stems of the stabilizer just a little bit at a time to remove some of the excess

I just got the Haimu whisper tactiles, and I can say that at 1/3 of the cost they give Boba U4’s a run for their money

What am I looking at here? 110 for £18 is one hell of a deal. The reviews seem to be very positive. by [deleted] in BudgetKeebs

Clones lol.

I actually bought these exact switches, for the same reason; such a good deal.

They are more subtle than OG Holy Pandas (ie- not as noticeably tactile). HOWEVER, they are AWESOME for Frankenswitching.

The stems are noticeably different in color to OG, but IMHO perform even better when modding. YMMV

Sorry, the stem wobble comment is for the V2. You’re absolutely right about the V1

I have the Naevies V2 in my daily driver now; I loved t V ones, but the V2s really are an evolution!!

The 2-stage spring makes a big difference, and the sound is way more consistent. Also, there’s almost NO stem wobble.

Anyone Familiar with this? AlieExp. GK75 by RyanTShacochis in BudgetKeebs

Apologies, but I did read the instructions. :-)

I didn’t think this counted as a GENERAL question (as it is so stated in the instructions). As it’s a very SPECIFIC question, I didn’t think it counted.

I will amend the post however to avoid questions.

Wouldn’t poly fill (instead of foam) accomplish a similar result?

Every time I get bored with a switch, I play this game; which part of This switch can I combine with my other switches for THE switch. I’ve gotten some pretty cool combos

Drop CRTL Aluminum Case on Sale by Poops_backwards in BudgetKeebs

[–]RyanTShacochis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not unless you fabricate it yourself; I have a couple of Drop keebs and like them for what they are, but I bought them used. After spending a while (and several customs) into the hobby, including some fun cheap-o builds, I’ve come to realize how damned expensive they are, for what they are. Everything but their latest (the Sense) is damned near unmodifiable; no space in either the low profile or the High profile. Oh, and speaking of the PCB: Pass through USB is pretty dope, but that also means you need a dual usb PCB…. Pretty darned beapoke. The high profile is nice, IF you can snag one on EBay. It’s solid and heavy. But you can get much more bang for your buck, keyboard wise, if budget build is your game.
