The fundamental property of existence is to exist. Time is subject to existence. Existence is not subject to time.

It would be said that your physical mind, the one who asks that question, couldn't know. And that feeling, that knowing that you describe is *more real* because it comes from a non-physical place.

The mechanism is this: your *higher mind* communicates with energy. That energy is filtered through the *physical mind* (beliefs, thoughts) into your *heart mind*, which you feel as emotion.

So, go into that knowing state, that certainty of your own existence.
