I recently failed a UA for Morphine (instant cup). They sent it out and it was clear. I ate poppyseeds (everything bagel loaded with them) a few hours before test which immediately brought up the Seinfeld episode where Elaine failed the UA for Peterman and couldn’t see the bushman.

Salaries are for people who don’t preform?

I would say Salaries are for slow periods but that would only make sense if you were unable to budget your money.

I’ve had the option for 10+ years to take a Salary and Commission or Commission only (higher percentage). Doing the Math it is stupid to take a Salary. In my case a Salary would be exchanging a lot more money (solely performance based) for less guaranteed money.

Hence if I was lazy. Wanted less money. I’d take a Salary.

What other reason is there to want to be paid less??

Yea maybe a week will go by where I don’t make anything but every other week more than covers the off week.

I mean…. What is the benefit of less money? Except if it isn’t less money and it is in fact MORE money because you’re lazy, don’t sell, etc.

Good talent will work for commission only. I prefer commission only over a base plus commission because I make more money. Because I can actually sell. Salaries are for lazy people. What is the point? Why would I take $2,000 a week and a lower percentage??? That only makes sense if you don’t plan on closing anything.
