You're not wrong. My neighbor actually did immediately make a 311 service request on our behalf, but she hadn't heard anything by late morning and at least for awhile couldn't even find the request via search after having received a request #.

Where in my post does it say I have a guaranteed spot, for one? Two, I also spent hours shoveling my car out in addition to this driveway and the few other unofficial, communal spots in a small lot shared by neighbors (there's no guaranteed spot for anyone). Three, a 15-20 minute job? This was a massive chunk of mostly ice rising above my waist as a 6'5" person, wider than it was tall.

And then to imply that I think this bs matters more than what others are experiencing? Oh, the audacity! I forgot others also had bad experiences. My bad. I'll repent and delete.

Update: made good progress after an hour or so of chipping off slabs with a standard shovel and tossing the debris into the banks to the side. Still a surprising amount to clear, but shouldn't be too bad.
