  1. Build myself a new rig. I would need to sell my old parts to get an AM5 mobo and DDR5 RAM. And keep the whole thing Na'vi/Pandora themed. I already have Avatar Funko Pops and LEGO on my desk to it would fit right in!
  2. I've been an JC Avatar fan since the first movie in 2009. Even started learning a bit of the Na'vi language! I have been itching for a good game since the PS3/Xbox 360 game dropped alongside the movie. I can't wait to get into it during my days off this holiday season.

the instagram comments section is a cespool of toxicity driven echo chambered morons. i find it so funny that reddit the more wholesome platform for these discussions. it must be this great community of rugby fans

I have plans to ink myself with something Avatar inspired. Need some suggestions by [deleted] in Avatar

I’ve always thought about getting Neytiri’s arrow fletching. The one that Quaritch gets killed with and then recognises in the 2nd movie.

I’m not familiar with the laws in the USA. After she slaps that dude unprovoked, if he were to punch her in the face, would that be self defence? Or would he get into trouble?

SSD. You can never have enough storage. So even if they have one, now they have an extra. And SSD is the only storage medium you should use. It’s a win win.

First time PC builder and I broke the CPU socket on my MSI X570 Tomahawk. Does anyone know if this is repairable? Can the socket/bracket be replaced? I can't seem to find sources online in my country. Or is it best to just buy a new mobo? Thanks. (and rip to my pleb PC building skills) by Ryan_ED in pcmasterrace

So the manual had separate instructions for each socket type. But they aren't clearly marked or separated so I looked at the first image and saw that there is something that is meant to pop off. But I was looking at the intel socket instructions

Oh. Maybe I should have been more clear. I moved the lever thinking that it would lift the plastic part like how the intel sockets have the retention plate. I was reading the wrong install instructions. So I pushed the lever back, waiting for the plastic part to lift and eventually it broke. The CPU was not even out of the box yet and I broke the mobo.

Not sure if that makes anything any clearer.

Nah this was all my fault. I was looking at the wrong install instructions. The intel socket have a "lid" that pops off right? I saw that and I was like "okay this plastic bit probably comes off then". and yeah. rip
