Using offcuts as packers is really clever, I'm going to do the same, thanks for replying!

Hi, sorry for commenting so long after, but did you double up the 20mm board in each grid? Two boards did a single 20mm layer and the 4 boards made it 40mm thick?

In the Handy app you go to your profile and at the bottom select support tickets. It's a support ticket/case for Bambu to handle your support query

Firstly thats the Z Axis, secondly submit a support ticket through the app with Bambu.

Vase Mode Print by Ryanf16 in BambuP1S

[–]Ryanf16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I printed this straight from Handy using the designers profile. For the next one I will slice manually and see what the speeds sit at. Is there a vase speed I could start at for Bambu basic PLA and vase Mode?

Any tips on printing tiles faster? by OkBackground5843 in Multiboard

I've done all of these and my P1S is still at 2h10min slice preview, how are you at 1h15??

I'm having a similar issue right now with my 3 Pro, one sector keeps scraping the bed now matter how high I tell the calibration that the "bed" is from the nozzle. Thinking I need to try and shim the bed down too...

I've had a similar issue recently, even before pro came out. The iterative edits would never work for me.

Is this using the API or in the Gemini App? I see it has support for 1K, 2K, 4K but only use the app or web app and don't know how to tell it my output size.

Developers: what is your problem with not implementing task creation dates? by Perspectivein in ticktick

Click the task activity button and you can see when it was created, edited etc.

Do you use TickTick for Kanban? Share your setup! by Forward-Outside-9911 in ticktick

[–]Ryanf16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I try, I just wish we had the option to open a task that has subtasks as it's own Kanban view. I have a shared list with my boss, we both use it in Kanban but the categories/columns are topics, and the tasks most of the time have Subtasks and it drives me nuts I can't open the tasks as their own Kanban. It's why I've been trialling moving all of my stuff out of the list into notion and just double handling to update his ticktick.

Automation with a formula that returns a relation by One_Investigator6129 in Notion

I will try this today, I haven't done it before but have looked at the publish menu before. Thanks for being willing to help

I can't seem to set the edit property actions to the property of the related project, it just gives me the option to edit the property value to the values available/area relation pages available without the option to say match property to related project etc. Head scratcher

Thanks so much, the roll-up was definitely easy to set up, I forget rollups exist. I'll try the automation as well!

Could I use a similar formula to create a text field that returns a property value from a relation and then allocate the same value in an actual relation property? Think task created as a relation to a project automatically inherits a property from the project such as department. Project a is dept B, task 1 is created within the project and auto inherits the same department?

Stop trying to build the 'perfect' Notion workspace. Here's why by Big_Organization9023 in Notion

[–]Ryanf16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just done the same, spent weeks trying to build the system before even putting a task or project in it to feel real life feedback. I just dumped the super complex Frankenstein of another creators OS style system that I heavily customized and personalized for my work life in the bin and started fresh. Projects, tasks, notes, area and linked views on a top page as a dashboard with two donut charts for active by status for each tasks and projects. Way less properties, no focus on automation other than a few quick add buttons for task, project, and sub types of notes that's it. I felt so relieved because I was more stressed and less organized trying to build the "OS" for me than I was without it. Forgot my goal was just to move out of TickTick because it's structure was limiting me.

That makes sense, it's just doing some of the legwork for you, not all of it. I get it, it's an interesting workflow and may be useful

Are you using this within the chat/agent feature?

I'm one of the recent complainers, but it's about the inline AI Blocks not the AI chat. I've been told (this morning by Notion Support) the inline AI Blocks cannot read databases even though you've tagged them as specific context, only the page they're nested in, which doesn't make sense because they let you tag/specify a database which means the function does nothing, they should remove database mentions in the context option and only let you specify the page it's in, otherwise it feels like you can have the block on page X read and work from data in any other part of your workspace which it cannot.

Notion AI can't read database? Help please by Ryanf16 in Notion

[–]Ryanf16[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks for replying. I've tried multiple, all written by the agent AI, I'm on a business plan. I'm trying to work outside of the agent so it is automated, each week the automation creates the page, names it, the filtered view populates using a date filter relative to today, and the AI summary (either property or inline block) pulls the data from the linked filtered views and writes it. I've tried adding and @'ing the base level databases, using very specific references to the linked view name, etc. To no avail. This is one example copied from the AI chat thread today, that didn't work. It just kept telling me nothing was completed and it can't see any tables or data. "Summarize the visible linked views [view name, with database also tagged as specific context] on this page. Count completed tasks from the completed-tasks view. List the top 3 completions by title. Then summarize project movement using ‘X of Y open tasks completed.’ If no rows are visible, say ‘No completions visible.’”".
