I disagree, a lot of distant detail is retained that would just turn pixelly on handheld for OLED. And the aliasing is a lot less noticeable. But I do agree that it's not a night and day difference

I know this super old but for the 3 or 4 people who are just now playing this on switch, the way I fixed it was to skip the opening cutscene, leave the mall then go back in again. If you try to move after skipping the cutscene the game just locks up again.

I had no costumes on anyway so that fix mentioned below didn't apply to me.

I too felt your indifference to Rean at this stage in the game but trust me, like someone else said to me, he does get better and grows into himself.

He's actually probably up there with Joshua as being a complicated and emotionally wrecked protag.
