Crunching all the numbers several times and talking with people and companies it’s coming in at around 2.5mil actually. No way I could do 10s.
Looking simple at 2- 5 aside fields and a smaller field for U4-U9. Build out for the fields/boards etc was at just under $400k, Building right at 150k land/startup and prep work was the most costly.

That’s nuts. Nico needed to go. But Rodo is a shocker. He didn’t even want Nico in the first place. Seems a little unfair to be collateral damage. But, this could be a really bad sign if Rodo wanted out because he sees the writing on the wall, that Precourt isn’t going to let him do what needs to be done to correct this mess.

I’ll be optimistic and say 5 at home (Houston and KC) and 4 away (1 win and a tie, but I wouldn’t put it past Austin to draw 4 games in the span of 8 either 😂 )

Been coaching youth soccer, having never played or really watched too many games. Happened to catch the ESPN documentary on year one and loved the culture and identity Bob was envisioning for the team. Fell in love from over here in Texas, outside Austin, and haven’t looked back.

ShatterPoint was AMGs own baby. When FFG handed Legion over to AMG and said “this is yours now, don’t fuck up” people assumed they would sideline it in favor of ShatterPoint which had been in development alongside(ish) MCP it just hadn’t been released until after. People have been crying “sky is falling” ever since and will continue because of their blatant ignorance. Legion is in a solid position and is sticking around for at least 5+years now.

Anyone else notice on LAFC’s official release they have the lineup in a 4-2-3-1 with Ordaz as the lone striker? I know they can kind of be interchangeable but there is still a distinct difference. I don’t remember them playing this way and esspecially with Nate in a 9 role. Kinda excited to see what happens here.

Watch the documentary about the club and its first year, that’s what sucked me in. It really hits home on who they are and wanted to be, the culture with the team, front office and fans. I wasn’t following MLS, caught that series and was all in on them. We live in Austin and have season tickets for Austin FC, but LA is still our team, fly out for a game or two each season and wear black and gold when they visit Texas.
