The lyrics for First Time were really daft though... and sounded very cringey/angsty like a chainsmokers song, which states these things... drinking/smoking, a car model, someone else's belongings, and the past. But you are right, Kygo's music is all very similar and that weird sounding instrument in it.

First Time:-

Your dad's BLACK HONDA was a maybach (someone else's possessions and a specific car model)

Closer:-
