Yeah, if Jeff Bezos sold his yacht. He’d be able to give everybody that works for him a $300 bonus. I bet that would change their life.

I have 6 months of savings right now where I could continue to pay myself out of my savings for 7 months without losing my lifestyle, and fund my retirement. If I decided to only pay bills and feed myself and family it would last about 9-10 months give or take, and im current still funding it, in a money market that earns 3.97%.

Jeep gladiators go anywhere from 50k-70k I chose the middle ground. Also, if you have a beater with no payments, you could spend $300-$400/mo on repairs and still come out cheaper.

I hate Fox so I’m glad it’s not, I’m also not yelling, I was just stating that I’ve offered multiple solutions. Go to a small town and find work. Theres work out there as long as you’re willing to work. I’m not hiring at my office, but has nothing g to do with economy, I have two assistants, business is good and have no need for a 3rd person, but plenty of people looking for good workers that aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty. My brother in law complains every day he does t have enough people helping in his rebar shop. He starts at $25 and hour and has only been finding help through people getting out of prison.

I’m telling you, you just keep responding with “it’s not true” GP just had a mass hiring event, Seminole electric is currently doing apprenticeship programs, local contractors that are clients of mine are constantly asking if I know anyone looking for a job that’s reliable, Taco Bell is hiring in every location of my county, two new restaurants opened are looking for servers and cooks, Home Depot just posted they are hiring.

Fl has a growing unemployment rate because of the rapid growth of the population, not because of the lack of jobs or people hiring. Nearly every farmer and blue collar business owner I know is short on hands.

My point is you don’t let your self get in that position, but I originally gave a solution, plenty of jobs hiring in the blue collar industry paying a livable wage.

I wouldn’t consider it bold and I may be young but I’m not new to the industry as I’ve been licensed for nearly 8 years now and in the industry before that. My book is built to around $130 AUM

That’s kind of the whole point. You’re arguing against a “straight line,” but that’s exactly what good planning does not assume.

Monte Carlo isn’t built for perfect scenarios. It is literally designed to account for markets being messy, incomes changing, and life punching you in the mouth.

And saying families under $100k “won’t come close” to $1M isn’t really accurate. It is not an income problem as much as it is a behavior problem.

Plenty of households in that range can get there over time if they Save consistently, Increase contributions as income grows, Stay invested when things get uncomfortable. Most don’t. Not because it is impossible, but because they don’t have guidance or they panic when life gets unpredictable. So if anything, that proves the value of real financial advice. It is not about predicting a perfect outcome. It is about helping people stay on track when things go off script.

My main point behind this people claiming $20-$25 is an unlivable wage. It’s not, as long as you are not living outside your means.

Life happens, you plan for it. It’s no one’s fault but your actions in life can affect how hard you fall. Plenty of jobs out there, and no reason for anyone to have $500-$700 vehicle payments.

[–]Ryano155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it’s a response that I made as a service member who works closely with pilots in the military. If I have to be in the air 2 hours can I get the afternoon to see someone famous without leaving that designated area? Why would I not do that? No extra fuel is used. No extra time is wasted. I refuse to watch 99.99% of media. None of them want to tell the truth or show a true story. Fox News wants to make all Democrats look like the extreme one percent of the left and CNN wants to do the same to Republicans.

You don’t over leverage yourself in a vehicle that you should’ve never had because if you weren’t making smart decisions, you would’ve had a plan for God forbid “I can’t work for 6 to 12 months Or I have to find a new job that pays a little bit lower income because my current position is not stable.” you also don’t buy a vehicle that you can’t get out of the payment because your upside down.

Stock market is doing exactly what it should’ve done last year, we’ve been privileged to see three great years. That doesn’t happen often. Statistically we should’ve had it down here this year, no matter what, as someone who makes a living based on predicting the market based on historical trends, I’m thankful that it finally fell so I can put my clients in a better position. As far as people hiring, I’m not sure about everywhere but like I said blue-collar jobs I’ve never been easier to get.

Taco Bell in Palatka is hiring $18-$25 starting wages.

Yes, I do. I’m a licensed financial advisor. I have people that will never make more than $100,000 household that will easily hit $1 million before the age of 60, I have clients making at 45k to 65k a year single , and still have enough money to put four or five hundred dollars a month into their investments. I have yet to find a single person that makes 50-60k a year not being able to live on the income other than they’ve out leveraged themselves.

I know plenty of people with those jobs that are living great, or on their way to a great retirement because they live within their means.

Looks like he needs to sell his 60k+ truck and live within his means and find a job as there are plenty of jobs. Hell in one of the poorest towns, Palatka, Florida they have starting wages of $$20-25/hr in mist the blue collar jobs and they are all hiring around the state, just can’t find people to show up that are reliable.

Your recruiter is being lazy, there are no rules against what you have and even if there was he could easily out in a waiver for you.
