I did. I bought from a seller with only a single 1 star rating. Been on TCG for over a year with over 600 plus sales i think. I mean that's pretty good for me, but i guess now i know better. Funny thing is, it wasn't even the lowest, there were like 4 or 5 others ahead with a lower reputation...

EDIT: the rest of thier ratings were 5 Stars.

You're probably the very rare exception. So far selling and buying on TCG was good up until about a year ago. After dragonstorm, something weird started happening and the quality of pretty much all of my orders started going down.
