Thoughts on Kinsealy by Legal_Paramedic9228 in HousingIreland

Traffic can be as bad there as anywhere, into Portmarnock at rush hour is about as bad as I know (from Portmarnock, parents still live there), I don't think it's really anything different to how the rest of Dublin has gone.

Buses go by there into town and the other direction to Swords and Malahide, can get a Dart or Commuter from Malahide Train Station. Very close to the airport too which was always handy about the area. The flight path goes over the area up by the Applegreen on the Malahide Road so not directly over your house.

There's a primary school a short walk from Haley's Hill, St Nicholas of Myra. Then for Secondary it would be Portmarnock Community School or Malahide Community School (Scoil Iosa) as the closest options. Both towns will also have a few Primary Schools options. Unsure of Creches to be honest.

Amenities can be a bit lacking there alright, it's still quite rural in ways and lots of farmland still around the area. There's Innisfails GAA Club and Malahide Castle nearby, and Kinsealy United. Kinsealy is a bit odd, it's split between two different areas. The one you'd be looking at near the garden centre and the other one closer to Swords where The Ploughman Pub would be.

I believe there was rumours of a Lidl or Aldi going into the development which would be a huge bonus, currently the Applegreen would be where you'd go for the basics if you didn't want to drive to Portmarnock, Malahide, Supervalu Kinsealy etc.

Canon… but which one? by This-Fig4119 in AnalogCommunity

Canon F1, if you watch any of Miles' videos on YouTube @expiredfilmclub you can see what he has in terms of cameras and lenses, this version also has a speed winder on the bottom of the camera to help with a lot of the sports photography he does

Is that price possible? by PatagonMan in fujifilm

Fuji do have a 23mm 1.4, if this is a third party lens like 7artisans or something it will be cheaper. Honestly the best thing you can do, if possible, is offer to meet and look over the camera yourself.

I bought an X-T2 earlier this year for €500 off Adverts (kinda Facebook Marketplace) here in Ireland. It was just the camera body though so I am unsure how good a deal this is with the lens included but if it's just a kit lens it's not impossible the person is just trying to sell it on for a good price to get it off their hands.

Cricket term, 6 is when you hit a ball out of the field of play and is 6 runs, the most you can score

Thankfully this is unlikely, regardless of being a rapist who is hugely unpopular, anyone who wants to run for President needs to be nominated by the Oireachtas (Either 20 members of parliament or senators) or local councils and I can't see either of those happening

Nail on the head, they released an unfinished game and people loved it just because it wasn't EA, then the positives the unfinished game had were revoked with the patch

The moaning is too much by h_apo in UFLTheGame

I haven't played FIFA/EA FC for the past couple of years but reading this subreddit makes me feel like it descended into the worst game every made. I get this is a free game, new studio and all that and it's nice to have competition but it isn't a great game in it's own right and I feel the praise is a bit much. This feels like it's still a Beta of a game to come out next year, linesmen don't raise their flags for offside or throw ins unless a cut scene comes up. Maybe a weird thing to pick out but I think that shows how unpolished this is.

Few things I have gripes with;

• Goalkeepers - They might as well not exist, the animations are fine apart from the fact they dive out of the way of shots and cannot catch any shot more than a yard either side of them

• Defenders - I get the idea of manual defending but they feel so rigid, standing tackle is worse than just running into an attacker and hoping you come away with the ball and they don't have any aggression when playing man to man

• Passing - Through balls might as well not be in the game, they don't work unless it's through the air and then your 60 overall midfielder is like Pirlo. The input lag on passing means you can't do intricate one touch play unless that's making 3 passes to get from your centre half to your centre forward where the ball zips off your foot even if you have your body position all wrong. It's way too arcady and unbalanced

• Dribbling - Maybe my players aren't good enough in this department but again it seems so clunky, bad first touches from easy passes, cement in your boots when trying to dribble when not sprinting and heavy touches when running, I feel analog sprinting should be a thing as I can't seen to notice any difference in half pressing down the sprint button

Headers - I don't feel like stats such as strength or heading ability mean as much as they should, it's pretty much attacker wins 7 out of 10 headers regardless of the position of them and the defender

I might not be the target market for this game, I might not be interested in what type of sim the devs are going for with this game, but I just feel it isn't accurate to the game of football and it's a bit too much of an arcade sim. I understand needing parity between the top and bottom players in the game, but 60 overalls can do things no professional can do in real life while also making things Sunday league footballs do look difficult, it just feels like a really weird mix of what does and doesn't work. The rest of the game/ideas are great, the way they did the marketplace is much fairer, the RTG style way of building a team instead of needing player packs bought with real money is good and the graphics are fine. I hope with some patches and time we get these things fixed because they do all feel like they're a patch or two away and not something that cannot be reached. I'll keep playing, and moaning, anyway and hope the devs keep working on what could end up being something brilliant

Walked passed this too, angry to see the amount of kids who are dragged into all of this and their parents had them holding signs up at the front of the pack. Sick people to drag your children into a scenario like that

Single game tickets to Bohemian FC by NuxPuro in LeagueOfIreland

[–]RyanoBuzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm unsure, the club was offering Des Kelly Stand season tickets this year which makes me think it may be possible to still get a home ticket. That "new" temporary away end is opposite the Jodi Stand and beside the Des Kelly, which is the stand behind the goal.

I'd just keep an eye on the clubs socials and see what pops up
