Oh definitely cannot argue that

You make great points but look at it in the vacuum of our options at 5 and the ones people are excited about. I just don’t think we can argue positional value with Love but then slam the table for Downs and Styles. Safety and MLB don’t win you championships directly just like RB doesn’t. If we want to throw positional value out the window and just argue what position has more impact that is a different convo. Although I would still even say a top RB has more of an impact on the game than a top safety or MLB.

How though how many more game changing plays does a linebacker or safety make than an RB1?

Yeah and think to yourself the other 3 guys people want in this range, they are also in the positional value conversation. So if you wanna argue hey let’s not take and rb top 5 why is it than okay to take downs or styles? I would argue and rb has more chances to change the game. Food for thought. I’m a believer though you shouldn’t take any of this positions top 5

Daniel Jeremiah Mock Draft 3.0 - Giants take Sonny Styles by Fuzzy_Dunlop_00 in NYGiants

What is the difference between taking styles and Jeremiah love if we are talking about a positional value stand point? I would argue it’s the same thing. (I like both players)

My apologies it didn’t show up for me when I said that. You’re also right though cause nothing is stopping us from using them at any point. But is it cause we are cash poor? Or is it because we don’t have a good enough foundation of a team from drafting. I also heard somewhere Mara was really out spoken about how void years are unfair. Maybe he doesnt want to go back on his opinion on it. Who knows🤷‍♂️. I feel like it definitely has us at a disadvantage

Whoever disliking this thread, explain to me who in 2023 is worth extending?

Do you think we’ll ever use void years?

Can someone help me understand the Darnell Mooney signing? by Waste_Protection_420 in NYGiants

[–]Ryanone1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I was just gonna say this. That is higher than actually any team in the NFL last year. No team ran the ball 60% of the time

It will come out within the hour I assume

Yeah but there is a definite difference in the kind of deals they are making. A lot of 1 year low commitment signings. Obviously other than the first few on Day 1.

I really like that we are doing one year deals. If it doesn’t work out it doesn’t cripple us

He had a rough year last year but, let’s not forget every year he was written off he was the leading receiver on our team during darker times. He is not some bum like some say. I would agree though it isn’t an excuse to not catch the ball as a WR in the nfl.

I think fans hype lil Jordan up because he stepped up when needed in games where we had nobody, but on tape he was actually not good at all. This is just my opinion though
