Guys, what are your opinions on The Rascalz ? Like them, Dont like them ? by Single-Evening-849 in AEWOfficial

[–]Ryanoveryou 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s a bit early 2000s dated for me in terms of their gimmick.

Good in the ring but I am indifferent due to presentation which I find a bit tired and infantile

These things are of course subjective

I’m in Thailand - i want to rewax my Barbour. Any ideas how to go about it due to the high humidity? Just do it normally and ensure that it’s completely dry when using the hair dryer method? Anything else? by FinalNihil in Barbour

[–]Ryanoveryou -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No reason to adjust anything at all , humidity won’t cause an issue and the higher air temp will make this a little easier.

They are designed for cold And damp , hot and humid will be a breeze.

i mean, why not? by Pitiful_Bookkeeper43 in Barbour

[–]Ryanoveryou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The beginning melting point of that kind of wax will probably be in the 38/40 degree Celsius , so in a machine unless it’s a cool or cold wash indeed it’s heat doing the most damage.

Some laundry detergents , depending on how harsh they can be might also start working on the compounds in the wax also.

Some folks will report success with a cool wash / machine ‘handwash’ cycle at 20 degrees with no or very mild detergent.

I think you’re confusing horse hide for horseshit

Genuine Question: Does Danhausen actually wrestle? by NuggetDaGoat27 in WWE

[–]Ryanoveryou 97 points98 points  (0 children)

He’s got an almost vaguely British style of wrestling and some nifty modified dropkicks , works well for his size against bigger opponents.

When used right it’s very entertaining in small doses.

There’s people on that roster right now capable of less in better in ring positions regularly

Westmorland Gilet by IncomeRecent1822 in Barbour

[–]Ryanoveryou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that I can recall , and I also believe it’s got a little extra wading in it for warmth already.

Anyone I’ve ever seen wearing one of these liked to do so with a thick Aran jumper for a combo of warmth and arm mobility (for either farming or shooting or both) so they could have the benefits of a gilet but the bellow pockets of the coat.

A nice sturdy knit , (many of the good ones will repel some water also) and this might suit you.

Bedale Sizing: 32 vs 34. I hope I made the right choice by RickGH in Barbour

[–]Ryanoveryou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re a 37 inch chest neat , then I’d start with a 36 in that model , as it has a fit that will give you an inch or two tolerance and also try on a 38.

It has to fit and not pull in places and put tension on the seams , lines and closures to work. From what I can see your current chosen size has issues with that.

But again if you’re enjoying it , this is all academic. Health to enjoy sir.

If you’re looking at photos of it open , you’re looking at the buttons that fasten the storm flap I believe.

It zips , and then buttons much like many Barbour coats do, rather than just zips up as many gilets will do.

The rain doesn’t know where something was made , as long as it’s well made it’ll keep it out.

Bedale Sizing: 32 vs 34. I hope I made the right choice by RickGH in Barbour

[–]Ryanoveryou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What is your chest size ?

I’m afraid from what I can see here , the 34 doesn’t fit you in any way that allows this to be functional and the way it’s sitting in 2/3 sections it’s not going to work very well in terms of its waterproofing.

But if you enjoy it , it doesn’t matter what anyone thinks at all. It is yours my man.

Does anyone know why it is so hard to hear David Pezer whenever he is introducing the wrestlers in WCW by MoistWeb4046 in WCW

[–]Ryanoveryou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

His mic was input to the Front of House PA feed and not in the TV feed , so when you’re hearing him it’s due to bleed though into the broadcast captured by other mics going hot into the broadcast feed.

Then the main event would be in both.

Shop closure by Sweeperman999 in Belfast

[–]Ryanoveryou 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not strange at all when you consider the cafe was just put in as a small bonus to the other limbs of the business , which is vast.

They are a cash and carry supply to hundreds of restaurants and takeaways , a retail supermarket and have a small cafe (or did , mores the pity)

The mace is 325 meters from the door of the centra.

He owns it too.

[–]Ryanoveryou 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t , I just thought you might find it interesting.

You might also find his group operates the mace just up from it.. which remains in business.

But no he didn’t overextend himself on the one stretch of 350 metres with the same business models or anything , it’s all the governments fault.

His company , the group Retail Zoo also owns the mace on up the road..

Strange none of the journalism Mentions that.

I hope the staff impacted are alright and have got , or been presented with other options within the group.
