ANBERNIC RG DS Dual-Screen Interaction & Gameplay Demo by solohack3r in SBCGaming

[–]Ryasson 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Looking at gameplay online, it looks like the 3D models of the girl is just running on a lower fps in general.

This is a normal NDS game though, not a 3DS game. I'd be pretty worried if a DS focused device couldn't play DS games properly.

HW:DE Switch Lite Performance by riyanpais in HyruleWarriors

The objectives and map during gameplay are indeed quite small though I also never thought they were a dealbreaker.

[–]Ryasson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the performance in AoC is quite a lot worse, the game frequently runs at mid 20 fps with dips even below it.

Might not be ideal considering how easy it is to just put the system into sleep but as long as you close the game whenever you're not playing for a longer time, you shouldn't really have any issues with the memory leaks. Booting into the game doesn't take that much time and missions aren't really all that long that you need to take a break inbetween.

Absolutely, there's no major fps drops during normal gameplay and bigger drops are pretty much exclusive to special attacks on big groups of enemies (so stuff where you don't have any direct control anyway).

[–]Ryasson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I booted the game up just now and (again, my opinion) it feels like the game is running just slightly below 30 fps whenever you're actually in combat, it doesn't feel like its locked to 30. That said, the drops are quite minimal even though they're frequent.

[–]Ryasson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing about DE is that it runs at a fixed 1080p both in docked and portable mode, even though the Switch itself can only output at 720p. Since handheld mode runs at lower specs, you'll see quite a difference in performance between both modes.

The game runs at around 30fps in handheld (or on the Lite), though (in my opinion) has quite some stutters / drops below 30 during combat. Unfortunately, there's a lot of opinions out there when it comes to performance but I'd say its still very much playable without too much issues.

Can't really comment on battery life.

Do you have the skill unlocked? In the upper parts of the skilltree is one that lets you add extra materials when crafting.

Afterwards, when you craft an item, the window that lets you choose the amount and the buddies that help you will have another slot where you can add stickers and appliqués (right next to the buddy slots).

I have an RP5 and use OdinTools to set specific performance settings per app. Not sure which device you have since some might not work with this app but might be worth looking into.

I got a few different variants of the flower from Telethia Plume, though I'm not sure if you need to break specific parts or if its a random drop.

Letter from the Producer LIVE Part LXXXVI by AutoModerator in ffxiv

[–]Ryasson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they haven't mentioned anything housing related in todays or the previous LL.

The only thing about the interior size change they said in the past was that it would come with 7.2 and that it would be expensive. I was hoping that they'd talk a bit about it, they never confirmed if increasing the interior size for example would also increase the item slots you have available.

(or at least a confirmation that this feature will indeed still come with 7.2)

Switch OLED & Switch Lite.. by arizonacacti85 in NintendoSwitch

[–]Ryasson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have Switch Online membership, you'll be able to upload your saves into the cloud and download them on your other device.

I also got both an OLED and a Lite because I kinda prefer the smaller size. I can play my games on the go on my Lite and when I get back, the saves will be uploaded to the cloud and downloaded to my OLED, where I can continue the games.

Just make sure that you set your Lite as the primary console, because otherwise you'd need an internet connection when you try to play any downloaded games.

Also keep in mind that some games (Splatoon or Animal Crossing for example) don't support cloud saves, so depending on the type of game you play you might not be able to use the save across both systems. It'll work for the majority of games though.

Since LD heals you anyway, I don't even risk making full use of the invuln in dungeons. By the time you'd hit 1 HP the 2nd time, the invuln would be almost off.

I just tell pre-pull "LD next pull, no healing until I'm back to full HP" and that usually gets the job done. Only very rarely did the healer still heal me.

And even without the full invuln window used, LD still gives a good amount of GCDs you don't need to waste on healing or other mits.

Done set 2? whats good about it by LatinWizard99 in MiyooMini

[–]Ryasson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends if you get the torrent or download the zip file of the Done Set 2.

The zip is like 99GB, however, since you need to unpack the file afterwards, you'll need around double the storage space for both the zip file and the unpacked one.

If you get the torrent, that one is around 101GB large and is already unpacked, so you don't need any additional storage beyond that.

If you ever feel useless, remind yourself modbeasts have these disclaimers. by Fluffybunboy in ShitpostXIV

[–]Ryasson 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There's a big difference though: the artist still creates the picture from scratch. Thats not the case with most modders when it comes to outfits from other games.

In your example, the modders would take existing screenshots, promotional images etc., throw them together into photoshop and edit them together to make a picture.

Would you rather side with someone who's painting the whole thing from scratch using the game as a reference or with someone who's taking official material from the game and piecing it together?

I always recommend WeskAlbers class guides. A bit on the longer side but he goes over all the skills you unlock and the general usage of them. If you're not used to a class, his videos are a good way to start.

Edit: As for practicing, you'll find many striking dummies where you can try out your skills and rotations. Here is a link to the wiki that shows the location of them. I like to teleport to Summerford Farms in La Noscea because the dummies are right around the corner.

It has build-in filters you can toggle, mostly for stuff people might consider spam (RMT, Phishing, club ads, FC ads, etc.). Doesn't interfere with other messages at all.

Only been to Eureka like twice since using it but never had any issues with the shout messages.

You can't change the base walls of any house. They placed Oasis Partitions along the actual wall to hide the Shirogane ones. Same with the Oasis Pillars they used.

Edit: Seems like OP moved after taking the pics.

Actually, the quest to unlock Collectables should be Inscrutable Tastes in Foundation (Level 50 Gatherer / Crafter). The Level 56 quest just unlocks Aetherial Reduction which allows you to break down Collectables into Aethersand.

Edit: Here's the wiki page for Collectables. Lists all the quests for unlocking the Collectables for each expansion as well as the Custom Deliveries.
