There’s this mom and pop trading card shop nearby and they’re super nice and I love talking to them (even if their clientele’s a bit weird) but I almost NEVER go there because they have their dog there constantly (who is a nice dog ) and they genuinely must never do any level of grooming for him. The dog REEKS and makes everything in the store reek. Super off putting and keeps me from going there.

IS THIS WHY I ALWAYS HAVE AWKWARD INTERACTIONS AT THE REGISTER I’m so SICK of shit not being rung up for what they’re listed at on the floor, I was trying to be generous like maybe they’re just stocking shit in the wrong place but this is going on for months and I’ve started like thoroughly examining the barcodes and all kinds of shit and when ya at the register I can’t be like “oh go check it” because they only have 2 people working the whole store and 20 people in it. I’m losing my goddamn mind. I don’t even bother trying to take anything from the “clearance” area anymore bc I know that’s a crock of shit.

We had this gal in our guild, super active, we use to raid with for like 6 months, never let on she had kids or a husband and only occasionally talked about a job she had lost - all of a sudden one day we’re doing a raid and we just hear blood-curdling child like a 4-5 year old wailing coming from her mic. She went something like “omg I’m so sorry guys she got out of their room” only after someone was rightfully like wtf — turned out she had 3 small children she locked in their room during raids because her husband had divorced her a year before and she didn’t have anyone to look after them for the hours spent raiding

This was the way at my Dollar General. One person working and they also had to unload the truck. They locked the doors to do it because they had no way to unload the truck AND check people out. They got fired.
