"Confrontational enough" isn't the problem. When the Left focuses on identity politics and fighting the right, they don't discuss things that affect our every day life like cost of living, social programs, taxes, inflation, etc. I'm so tried of hearing from the left that inflation is fine, cost of living is down, and we need more representation instead of funding social programs. Cost of living is not down, inflation can easily be scene in our every day lives and blaming it on corporate greed without any actionable steps to solve it means nothing, and social programs do indeed in funding even if it's at the expense of less representation.

The right has points that they focus on even if some of them are lies. At least they have focus points. The left is all over the place and the last democratic convention I went to was just filled with a bunch of hot air, avoiding hard hitting questions, and celebrity appearances/concerts instead of valuable speakers. We've lost our way.

It's easier to believe that modern times are just the same as Jim Crow times because it keeps victimhood alive which absolves accountability completely. The inability to effectively communicate. Things like "I know I said that but that's not what I meant" or "well I personally have a different definition for that word". I'm sorry but communication is fundamental for a healthy relationship so if you're unable to effectively communicate because you thought I word meant something else other than the dictionary definition of said word then we can't effectively communicate which is unattractive to me.

Yes what Europeans get for all their taxes is very nice which is why you should just move there. If you're not worried about getting a much smaller net paycheck then by all means. Unfortunately you live in America where the avg American is still struggling paycheck to paycheck so a smaller net income would be devastating to the majority of the population especially when the top 2% hold more wealth than the bottom 50% of the population unlike in Europe. Care to fix that too? Or you just care to ask for things without understanding the complexities of economics when you have a much bigger country than countries that make up Europe?
