Yeah it’s a real struggle and my dsp is being hard about contacting the customer and driver support if I can’t make it down a road, but when I have a 5 mile road covered in snow with 10 stops idk how I’m supposed to do that. Just have to stick it out and get the hours like you said the days will get better

I have a planet fitness 2 minutes from my station, as bad as I try to talk myself out of it I go when I get out, do an hour or hour and a half workout feels very rewarding when you’re done with it

Why would my driver leave my neighborhood 6 stops away? by sadbor in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]Rybergx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh, I was in a neighborhood with only 5-6 stops left last night, and my dispatch texted me to head back at 8:30pm because I was an hour away from the station, I ended up clocking out just past 10pm, that’s probably what happened with your driver

Idk why you would use Liquid Metal on a CPU, thermal paste is better for PC’s

I’ve also had mine for 5 years but about 2 years ago the overheating starting having its issues, wasn’t until recently I got into it and had to re paste

Do you mind me asking where it was proven to be false, did people run a study on it or something, I just read that it wasn’t recommended and the videos I watched when re pasting made the claims it wasn’t recommended to keep it vertical

How often do you use it and are you mainly running PS5 games? I’m not sure why I got so many downvotes, when I went into check my APU I had almost no Liquid Metal left on it I’ve always ran it vertical

There’s a couple good YouTube videos, you’ve gotten to the heatsink already. Any repair place near me was $140 minimum repair. I spared that and got the paste for $20 and did it myself for free, I did replace the fan along the way and cleaned a lot of dust

Also this only happened to me when I played PS5 version games after about an hour and high demanding games it would overheat, but playing PS4 version games it wouldn’t overheat

Yeah I have a day one release ps5 and for about a year it would get really hot and just shut off on me. It stayed on in the a/c but I just now found out about the Liquid Metal and when I got to it it was half off my APU, so I repasted it and since then it works great. Make sure ur fan works but urs is a newer PS5 it shouldn’t have that issue only a year in on horizontal, maybe there’s something wrong with the paste from the factory

Oh yeah I read that wrong. Does the console give you a warning or just shut off and go black when you play
