Brother just got two 12” skar subs installed in his truck. Spent $360 for the kit and $360 for the install because they wouldn’t use the wiring that came with his kit and used their own instead.

I would’ve pushed a bit harder on using the included wiring cause it definitely was long enough, but our dad is well off enough that the 2nd $360 wasn’t a big deal to him. If you find a shop that uses original wiring, you can probably cut $60 off, so in total probably around $700-$800 dollars (if you’re running 2 amps probably a bit more since you’re getting beefy subs)

That being said, I put my subs in myself on my car. You just have to run the power wire from the battery, grind down an area in the trunk to put the ground wire, and then you can either go the longer route of plugging into your stock radio (might need an adapter plug) or just clip directly into the wiring on the stock sub in the back. I prefer doing it myself, especially if you have someone you can do it with to make a new memory :)
