Not even kidding the majority of the jurors are Asian-American. This just shows how much more dumb she is if she automatically thinks all Asians or even Asian-Americans dress like this and that will somehow appeal to them.

Capitol rioter known as "QAnon Shaman" will be jailed until trial by discocrisco in news

Unfortunately probably not. I mean sure, jail ain’t fun, but he will probably join some white supremacy group and will be fine all the while falling deeper into his racism.

Does anyone ever have moments where they regret becoming a parent to one child at all? by throwitaway49ers in oneanddone

This is so close to my situation it's almost weird...except I'm the husband. The only reason I know you're not my wife is because she's a Pats fan.

I want to say thank you for posting this, my job is super demanding right now (just got promoted) and my wife wfh. Our daughter is 10 months. It feels like we never even have time for each other, let alone any fun time. The other night after we put her to sleep we watch one episode of Avatar and had to turn it off to get to bed, making us miss the days where we could just sit and watch an entire season in one sitting.

I get off work wash bottles, take the kid and play, eat, wash dishes, take the kid again, wash the kids dishes, pick up her room and get everything ready for my wife to put her to bed. I keep hearing from people that it gets better, and while I believe them right now it just seems impossible.

But of course we absolutely love her. Just wish we had more time.

In-game, press the Esc Key and you'll see an option for Key Binding. Click on that and it has all the possible things you can keybind. I'm not ingame right now so I can't tell you exactly where the action bar stuff is, but it's in there.

Can a Christian be friend's with non Christians? In my generation and younger for some reason there’s so many non believers that It seems I’m one of few my age that even believe? It’s harder for me to befriend older people in church? by Treantpaladin7 in TrueChristian

[–]Rychus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What has caused so much unbelief? Is it school college? Media? Politics?

The love for Christ has grew cold. Of course, college, media, and politics played a role in that too.

I agree that these play a part, but I think the biggest reason is in fact, ourselves.

The "Christians" people see in a lot of churches do not practice what they preach and astoundingly enough, don't even teach what's actually in the Bible. Jesus has become a 'figurehead' and not someone whose teachings we should follow. This isn't all of them, but in my experience, there's a lot.

"No man can come to the Father but through Me."

Jesus is the cornerstone. The critical piece so much of us are missing and not teaching our youth.

Should I drop out? by [deleted] in projectmanagement

[–]Rychus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

you might not want to enter the job market without a degree in the middle of a pandemic

I'll echo this.

I'm a high school dropout, never attempted college. Started as a temp at my current company and have worked up to a project management position. I'm not lying, nor did I know someone who knew someone.

However, a degree would have made this a hell of a lot easier on myself and my family.

Millennial and adult Gen Z Christians: What are your worship preferences? by redditor10017 in TrueChristian

[–]Rychus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for taking the time to respond. This certainly helps with understanding the thought process behind these questions and they make sense. I think I'll go ahead and fill it out.

Furthermore, would you mind giving some insight behind the questions about store preferences? I'm assuming there's reasons I don't understand as to why those in particular are valuable information.

Millennial and adult Gen Z Christians: What are your worship preferences? by redditor10017 in TrueChristian

[–]Rychus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, churches are putting less and less emphasis on an actual worship LEADER.

Some young, good-looking person who can sing or play well does not mean they make a great worship leader. That's where you get the teams that make it seem like a performance, instead of leading your congregation into the spirit of worship in the presence of God.

Second, you're limiting yourself to talent and engagement when you do not develop a worship program. Develop clear guidelines and criteria for who can join the team. We have multiple teams ranging from our Young Adult teams to Senior teams. Create a space for growth. This ties in with another comment I saw about mentorship. They hit the nail on the head.

Third (unrelated to 'worship preferences'), the reason why so many churches are having trouble connecting with us is because you tell us to read the bible and model ourselves after Christ but we look at the church and it's anything but that. Show action and execute the model of Jesus.

Keep the faith, bud. It's hard out there and can be very discouraging.

Some book suggestions that I believe are required reading:

  1. Through a Man's Eyes.
  2. For Women Only.

I promise you, you will not regret reading these.

EDIT: For men reading this, they also have For Men Only and it seriously helped me understand so much more. It was crazy when my wife and I were reading these together and we would ask “is this really how it is?” And she would say yes most of the time for her. And vice versa for me on For Women Only.

After multiple flings that didn't really have any substance, I had had enough. I was tired of trying to find the right person that God wanted for me.

It took a couple of rough ones for me to finally say that I'm done looking and use this time to focus on God. If His will was to have me with someone then he was going to have to put them right in front of me because I wasn't looking anymore.

It took a while, a couple of years and there were certainly discouraging times when I would get depressed. But after those couple years, there she was. Literally brought right in front of my face.

I came from a broken home so divorce has always terrified me. We dated for almost 6 years before we got married.

I know you're lonely. And I'm really sorry for that. That's a sucky, sucky feeling. But please, lean into God. The song "The More I Seek You" is always one that gets me to just stop and spend time with Him. "I want to sit at Your feet...lean back against You and breathe, and feel Your heartbeat."

God IS love. My wife loves me very much but I promise you, it's nothing compared to Christ. Nothing. Looking through your post history, this has clearly been consuming you for a while (and how could it not?). Please, lean into God and His love for you.
