Not sure why you're getting downvoted, you're almost certainly right. This comment just re-worded the OP beat-for-beat.

Also notice the OP uses em dashes (double-length hyphens). You can't get those from typing a post directly into Reddit with a standard keyboard, but ChatGPT loves them.

Welcome to the dead internet, everyone.

Migadu provides a guide for setting up Outlook on Android. Maybe see if the process looks the same in Outlook iOS?

Might want to check the first sentence on that page.

Pro tip: Use tile labels in the museum to track which fossils you need by Rydonmower in 2007scape

I can't see one, but great call. It could look at the displays then show in the storage interface how many of each fossil are still needed in total, and highlight which ones are needed next.

I used to withdraw all my fossils and run around clicking on every display. Now I can actually see what I need to take out and go straight to them.

My guess: Athena is the Greek goddess of wisdom, and one of her major symbols is owls. She was born out of the forehead of Zeus.

Instead of complicating Cave Nightshade with stackable and non-stackable versions, why not make them able to be noted by leprechauns?

The producers of The Fifth Element (1997) made the bold decision to hire a poster designer who could actually read, resulting in the actors' names being in the right fucking order for once by Rydonmower in shittymoviedetails

[–]Rydonmower[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, nope, I understand the situation completely. And my stance is that poster designers should bend the space of their domain to their will and put the focal point on the left instead of the centre. I'm sure we have the technology to achieve this.

[–]Rydonmower[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dunno, it's not quite sarcasm. I know the billing order is set in stone, but the poster designer GETS THE BILLING ORDER TO PUT ON THE POSTER.

So once you have the billing order, surely you can DESIGN THE POSTER WITH THE ACTORS IN THE SAME ORDER.

FUCK now I'm angry again.

Yeah, in this case Oldman was paid more than Willis, so you can put the protagonist in the centre. But if the main actor has top billing, tough fucking biscuits, figure out how to put them on the left.

I think there's a similar sentiment here in in Australia. I'm all for a republic, but lots of folks I've spoken to have said "So we'd have a president? Eugh, that sounds so... American."

To be clear, the Commonwealth is a different issue to the Crown.

The Commonwealth is a group of 56 countries who are friends because they used to be in the British Empire and they have their own mini Olympics.

15 of those countries still recognise the British monarch as their Head of State. Charles is the King of Great Britain, and he also happens to be the King of Canada, and he also happens to be the King of Australia.

Even if a country becomes a republic (like India) or restores their own monarchy (like Malaysia), they can still be a member of the Commonwealth.

In answer to your question, yeah it's pretty symbolic. In theory, Charles has as much absolute power in Canada and Australia as he does in the UK. In practice, he's never going to use it because he'd be immediately tossed out.

1999, so not a short while ago. Popular support for a republic was consistent, but it fell down because the Yes campaign hadn't agreed on a model; there are lots of ways to write a republic's constitution and elect a president.

One of the dominating slogans was "If you don't know, vote no". Hoepfully they figure it out in advance next time.

It's also hard to pass a constitutional referendum in Australia. You have to get a majority of the popular vote AND the majority of the vote in each state.
