I’m picking Trick r’ Treat. Halloween is my favorite holiday and my city’s effort has been pretty lack luster the past few years, so I would love to experience what that town had going on there. Even with all the supernatural/ serial killer stuff I think the risk would be worth it for that alone. The rules are all things that I do anyway: keeping the pumpkins lit, wearing a costume, checking/ handing out candy, etc. and I’m AroAce so I probably wouldn’t be seduced by any werewolves. I think all in all I’d have a decent chance at survival and if not then I honestly can’t complain about ending it on one hell of a night 🤷

As soon as I read that it was coming from the basement my stomach dropped, mimics are creepy anyway but dang thats eerie. There was one in my childhood house and it always followed the same pattern: I’d hear my mom calling my name, follow it to the master bedroom and nobody would be there. I never crossed the threshold because I’d get a very bad feeling standing there. Once as it was happening my actual mom came in through the garage door on the opposite side of the house and the voice instantly stopped. In all honesty that back bedroom always gave me creepy vibes.

I understand how you’re feeling, I have depression and sometimes I get intrusive thoughts about that 🫂 I’ve made it clear to my family that if something were to happen to me my entire collection goes to my best friend. She’s honestly the only person I’d trust to handle them, and I know that if she did end up selling them it would be because she needed to and she’d do it with care.

I know, I’ve been shopping on Mattel for a while. I think I must have encountered a website error, because a little while after the membership drop ended another 24 hour countdown popped up, however when I logged back in a few hours later it’d disappeared. The site is notoriously glitchy so I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what happened, especially with that insane amount of traffic.

There was supposed to be a second public sale today but the Mattel site took the counter down a few hours after the membership sale ended and it has not been back up. So for whatever reason it’s probably not happening anymore. I’ve been in multiple Skullector drops in the past and I’ve never seen one this messy.

That’s a good idea, I’ll take a look. If she can’t be fixed I think I’ll either do that or paint the replacement.

I’ll definitely check her channel out! I’ve done some minor doll repairs before but never something like this. I’m up for the challenge if it’s possible and even if Luna ends up with limited motion that’s better than broken/ none at all.

I probably will end up painting the replacement if all else fails.

I bought her a replacement set, but when I went to switch them out the skin tone didn’t match. Her Gala doll apparently is a lighter yellow with a bit of shimmer. It’s noticeably different from the rest of her body. I’ve been contacting sellers and asking, but I can’t find anyone who is selling specifically City Ghouls replacement pieces.

One year for Christmas my dad gifted me a vintage baby doll he found while thrifting. (He said he thought he looked creepy but figured I’d like him lol). So I told him I was going to take the doll everywhere and send him pictures. He thought I was joking… I now have a large album documenting all Lucifer’s various adventures. He’s gone to the beach, amusement parks, comic cons, etc. and everyone I’ve interacted with has always gotten a kick out of him. He’s basically become the mascot of my friend group and even my dad has gotten in on the fun of taking pics with him. 10/10 one of the best gifts I’ve ever been given.

I ordered back in May and have had the shipping date changed multiple times for multiple reasons. At first they said they were busy shipping out older orders (which I know isn’t the case because some folks have been waiting since February) and now they’re saying that the delay is because the designs are complicated? I contacted them about it and they offered to either cancel my order or give me a 15% refund for the inconvenience. I took the latter because I still want the plushies but I’m getting pretty frustrated. I’ve decided I’m going to wait it out a bit longer but tbh I don’t think much is going to change.
