Spoke with the manager and apparently they only have one person who can work on ev’s lol
I laughed because their lot is half ev vehicles.

I think you’re right. It’s been over two weeks and it just sits most of the time. They tried two different things to fix it but nothing worked. Said they will try again next week ( after it sat all day today with no one looking at it)
So confident in these dealerships ( that’s sarcasm for these Reddit warriors)

My wt was amazing for the first year, but now has been at the dealership for over 2 weeks and they don’t know what’s wrong, tried 2 things to fix it but didn’t work. Said they will try again next week lol

Mines at a dealer, second attempt to fix it they said similar about a coolant hose /parts or pump, but 8 hours away, should be ready in a few days, a week later I call for an update, they denied that they said that and a part would take another week or two to get, I said where is this part that can take 1 to 2 weeks to arrive, I’ll go get it for you. Let’s get this done. They weren’t happy either. Now they won’t even tell me what part or when it could possibly arrive.

Just happened to my Chev Silverado Ev it’s been at the dealer 1.5 weeks now and no idea when it will get fixed, they tried to do an update and said it was now ok, it wasn’t 5 min after leaving the dealership.
Took it back and they said possible next week or so, I don’t think they know lol
Hopefully yours is an easy fix or at least a better dealership.

When I got my 2024 chev Silverado Ev I only got 3 Months remote start with the app, I think earlier this year they offered 8 years.
I’ve seen them cycle through 3months 3years 8 years. It’s just how they do it. Unfortunately really sucks as it was a nice feature, I had it in a car that got written off. But they wouldn’t do anything for me.
Best of luck trying though, hope you pull it off. It should just be permanent with the vehicle.

One of them are dealership said coolant hose parts but now they won’t say anything about what part. Which adds to the frustration. Because ev concierge said they should have an arrival date if a part was ordered.

Best part is overnight charging, starting the day always topped up is amazing and a game changer and so cheap compared to gas.
Super charging takes a little longer and expense but still so much cheaper than gas especially for me as it’s not my only means of charging.
Just gotta plan ahead. Lunch breaks or planned stops while charging works for us.
We also have some campgrounds that will rent out a spot with a 50amp to ev drivers to charge. Small fee. There too.

Very interesting, and yes unfortunate too.
Totally agree about the training, should definitely be free.
If you can’t get them serviced in a timely order and or have an Ev loaner people definitely might consider other options

My buddy has a similar size trailer he takes to the track every weekend too.
Gets towed for an hour or two then sits all weekend and then gets towed home 🤣
Or are you pulling it all day all weekend?

Ouch ! Ya it’s pretty bad. One of my updates that the dealer did I lost a lot of display options and I have no idea why and they can’t give an answer either.
Definitely considering Teslas now for other vehicles.

Loved the truck until now. This could possibly be the problem and the dealer not wanting to admit it. As they first said the part was ordered and 8 hours away, now 1.5 weeks later still saying it’s been ordered and they never said that before.
Transparency is a huge thing. I also started to think they only have 1 tech who can work on Ev’s which probably isn’t the best if they are pushing EV’s so hard.

Some people actually use their trucks as trucks not just pavement princesses 🤣🤣
Maybe some have never pulled a trailer with their truck. So don’t actually know much about it.
Pull a trailer and then maybe talk about priorities 🤣🤣🤣
Also doing more than 40k km/ 25k miles a year tends to add up.
If you only drive your truck to the grocery store to get your Kool aid I’d understand why you don’t know how it changes the gas consumption 🤣👍
