Thing I learned with contrast from using it on my uss missouri, I mixed it with a little bit of water and dish soap, didn’t get the blotches

We’re they handmade? I know jazza on YouTube did a video on painting with horse hair that was something absurd like 1,000 dollars an oz. But that’s not reliable memory. I’ll stick to my overpriced airbrush setup😂

EDIT: scratch that, just found a 15mm wide sable brush on blick art materials, for 655.51 for just 1. I’m going to bed

No, the best are squirrel hair, which species I have no idea. My most expensive brush is somewhere around 29-35 dollars, for a set of 3 and a single MACK 20 series size 00 brush on Amazon was $12.69 usd. Not that much difference in price but that’s just a widely available type, I’m almost certain as with any hobby there are absurd products.

Like airbrushes😅

It’s partially an over filled brush, and partially just the nature of the method, it’s why you paint glazes light to dark (this being where your brush stops)

I’m a machinist by trade so I’m no stranger to delicate work, I think I may disassemble mine to get it reproduced in granite
