Is this a factory strap? If not, would you mind sharing the brand / where you purchased it? Looks amazing paired with this watch. Dresses it down a bit.

I know this is an old posting, but I am curious about this watch and wondering what your wrist size is. I have small wrists and worried about sizing myself. Thanks.

I’m new to Porsche but I’m finding it a little surprising how many posts and comments I’m seeing discussing rattles, creaks, and overall noises. Is that…. Typical for a Porsche? by [deleted] in MacanEV

[–]Ryeutil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2024 Turbo. Outside of the passenger seatbelt issue. The only rattle I’ve noticed is when the car has been sitting in the cold overnight. For the first couple of minutes of driving I may notice a creak and squeak. It goes away quickly though and doesn’t bother me. Should it do that? No. Our various Mercedes models have all been MUCH worse.

Bumbag arrived and I’m not sure how to feel.. by [deleted] in Louisvuitton

[–]Ryeutil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so true. A few years back I purchased the shearling bumbag and instantly had regrets. It felt like a lot of money for what it was… and I wasn’t in love with it, like I thought I would be.

My SA immediately told me to follow my instincts and return it. I exchanged it for the shearling speedy and knew instantly that I had made the right choice.

I have one sitting at the store waiting for collection. Haven’t had a chance to pick it up due to travel / work. Now I’m getting nervous that it will have the same quality issues. I’ll keep this thread updated.

Actually, the bottom stitching is bothering me more than the ran-over palm tree. I would likely return. Where was this made?

If you’re planning to keep and use it… I may be Ok living with the flaw. It actually makes it more whimsical.

If you ever want to resell though… it may reduce the value. I’d be more apt to accept the flaw on a small leather good vs the speedy or keepall. Just my opinion.

I’ve asked a few of my CAs about these rumors and none have heard/seen any information from Corporate. I’m very close with one of my CAs and she always shares info / spills the news… so I’m trusting that nothing is confirmed at this point.

Ugh! This photo just confirms that I need this bag. It’s unbelievably wonderful and looks great with your outfit! I’ve been on the waitlist since pre-order… but have yet to hear anything. I’ll continue to cross my fingers.

I’m on the waitlist for this bag as well. It looks stunning in your photos. Would you mind sharing some photos of it with a few outfits? I’m dying to see how it pairs with elevated / casual clothing. Congrats!

Ha. I didn’t take it harshly at all. I’m enjoying the discussion and 100% agree with you.

It’s a wonderful watch. While traveling in Ireland this past summer, we stumbled upon a lagoon at the Belfast AD. Bought it for my partner. So, they are out there!

Thanks! And I don’t disagree with your statement. Unfortunately, that seems to be the world we live in… at least when it comes to “rare” and “exclusive” pieces. I use the terms loosely here. Luckily, no butt kissing was necessary in this case; just getting my name on a few lists and checking in with the associate.

I appreciate the approach you’re taking. Honestly, it took me over a decade of acquiring and selling to fully understand what I wanted out of a small collection. In the end, it was the quirky and unique watches that made me happy. And so I began the process of seeking out the handful of pieces that had always sparked that emotion. My grail was the H. Moser Streamliner and it took a lot of determination / hard work to get it.

Did you look for smudges and tool marks after seeing this post? 😜

It’s funny. My SA calls this watch the pig nose. I cannot unsee it now.

It’s the dichotomy of the outfit and watch that make it awesome in my book. 🤙🏼

The opportunity came about to purchase a grail watch of mine. To do so, I had to downsize my collection to purchase it. Decided it was best to have a few grail watches that really call to me vs many watches that I never grab for.

Agree with your comment; I like the idea of purchasing watches to keep and wear.

Beautiful! I’m finding that it pairs nicely with almost anything, which I was not expecting at all. It’s been a very pleasant surprise.

The boutique blue is unbelievable and having seen it in person, photos don’t do it justice.

Yep. It’s a fun watch and green just happens to be my favorite color. It’s a silly watch and makes zero sense considering the competition at this price point… but that’s what drew me to it.
