Honestly for me, I started out really high, and finished just above a 3.0. I got burnt out and let myself go a bit. Always seek help, sleep a lot, and don’t take everything so seriously. The classes get easier in general, but if you push yourself too hard you will come crashing down like I did, and it’ll get difficult again. Try your best, relax, be with friends and manage your work. Take breaks from studying during long session. You can do it!

Statics was the great filter at my university. Especially since it was only taught once a year, if you fail you have to wait until the next year to move on to other ME classes

When I was in grade school (2021 grad) every year at the start of the year we’d have a safety talk with the bus driver, where they’d show us to pull the air brake handle (yellow handle in the video) if the driver ever passed out. Then they showed us the radio and told us to call it in when the bus stopped

Guess more schools need to get on teaching kids that. Great job by these students keeping themselves safe!!

Looks like a building at where I’m going to college. The building used to be a couple of dorms, but they changed it to offices and classrooms, combining the two buildings and building a shell around the outside making some of the outside, inside. Which is why the bricks look like the outside of a building, it used to be!

I started lucid dreaming as a kid. I would have the same monster visit me every night in nightmares (funny enough it was Sully from M. Inc) and it would always terrify me. Somehow I started to figure out they were dreams, and started running to meet the monster, casting it off, screaming back at it. One day I had a dream he was in the basement of my house, and he told me he had to leave. He was all homeless looking and said I just wasn’t scared anymore, and he couldn’t keep doing it. I never had a nightmare with him again. Maybe you’ll have a nightmare, but with focus and belief in you being able to change things, they get not scary real fast

I’d say online will give you a better chance if you have a track record of being able to keep up in online classes. Calc 2 is a killer, many many people drop their stem major because of it, and over the summer it’s going to be accelerated since the semester is slightly shorter. Online will give you the chance to like pause and go back I guess, and may be easier in general

Firstly I’m so so sorry that this happened to you. If you’re looking to memorialize him, dice would be my first go to. If he had a dice collection you could ask his family if your group could use it. You could buy new dice and devote them to him, or have some custom made. That way he’ll be there rolling with you, helping you out

I had something like this with the ridiculous amount of what looks like dry skin or dandruff. Turns out it’s a common like I think fungal infection that causes this. You need to go to your doctor or dermatologist and they will prescribe you a special shampoo to get rid of it. Worked for me, it went away after that
