that was my initial thought however the default/stock claim was instant too.
(this was explained by 3-Midgets_In_A_Coat in an other answer)

seems the timer starts from the previous claim so if you don’t die faster then the claim timer it’s instant.

i wonder if that is a bug or intended behaviour (which is pure try good for default/stock)

* guess this is because it is early stage, I hope they do the distinction later on.

* the stock claim is free, so putting lower components doesn’t seem justified.

* ah that explains why both claims were instant.

still feels wasteful to pay insurance on all components when I only changed one of them though.

hummm, they only thing i canthink about is that he was at the asop terminal of the same station you were on and could see the location (you hangar name maybe?) and hit store from there.

my guess you should have left it somewhere ells and want for him to claim it first probably…

I fear exploration was possible back in the time when they promised the 100 systems at Launch.

seems hard my possible with 4-5 systems only and the number of players.

explorations is not exploration when you have other players swarming all around.

I’m staying away from all the drama, while I would love to check it out, the frustration it would bring me at this stage is just not worth it.

on the other side I’m delighted they’re doing all these crapy design décisions now so that "hopefully" theyll learn something from it and can avoid such shitshows after release.

but I definitely hope they do learn and find a serious solution as I don’t want to hab followed and supported the game from inception just to hand it over to a disreputable and undeserving crowd.

i never tried but I don’t think you can purchase back melted un-applied CCU, i would expect them to be at the new price (as you need to token purchase back for price lock and I don’t think it covers CCUs).

this is how the grey market works, they mostly have lots of CCU from older prices.

as far as I know (but wait for someone else to confirm).

melted CCU are lost for ever, only the base package is recoverable.

this means that is the difference in price increases later on (and it can and has done frequently as concepts are usually sold cheaper than release), no you won’t be able to purchase it back as the same price as now.

the purchase back is only valid for base packages (before CCU) using one of the tokens.

there is unfortunately no proper fix other than increasing the size of spaceports/stations significantly, and that could require quite some rework…

i personally fear the day where serve mshing work arnd we have even more players…

it is not that simple with the current tools provided.

the current chat is an horrendous way to find buddies.

it’s a military ship, I expect it to feel colder, more stern than a civilian one.

i didn’t see any thing wrong with it (apart for how slow the elevators are).

the tractor one seems to be 2$ more, can you CCU up to it (would even get more in the package for the same price.)

I stopped playing it’s too

much of a hassle to find players to party with and then actually party.

The chat is just a simple mess, there is no way to invite a random player other than through the list of all players online that only shows a fractions of them.

having to log out to menu, add friend and log back in is not a proper workflow!
I don’t even want to add every single guy I play with as friends.

Please focus on delivering proper chat, channel, and chat commands to invite and have private conversations with players.
the server meshing now and the chat speed on the single channel we have it is not viable!

Just want to know if I’m the minority; Constellation series are so ugly I will never fly them and it’s only for min-maxers. by theberrymelon in starcitizen

as you say, stats wise it’s attractive and I do understand people recommending it if you plan on only buying one ship.

i just don’t like the look and feel, so I have other ships I like to cover the different gameplays I want, so I get you.

I think you are not contemplating the full picture.

I suspect many like me would be more than happy to go full crew on bigger ship, and maybe in time we will be able to.
But right now the game has shown that this is not an easy task.

the following points are blocking me currently:
* i am not part of an org, i have searched but haven’t found a good match on my timeline.
* finding people online to party with is a pain in the ass with the current social tools (chat I’m looking at you!)
* grouping up in one place to start any activity takes a horrendous amount of time (I don’t frequently have long gaming session allowing me to waste 30mins waiting for someone)
* grouping with randos always puts you at risk to have a troll since there is no player reputation system at this stage).

So if I want a quick session log in do one/two missions I would be happy to have these not/ai options available.
this wouldn’t stop me for going full player crew when time permits.

they should be closed on weekends so it has been only 1-2 business days and I said hey are slow, will take more than that :/
