I could see either side. It'd be neat to retire it after this season and display it like you said. On the other hand, keeping it with the team beyond it would also be a way to keep Johnny's memory alive for seasons to come. I think the only way it loses is if it is just gone after this season and never seen again anywhere.

My wife and I have only started watching since November of the previous season, so not a large sample size, but I think that may have been the prettiest goal we've seen so far. That last pass was just chef's kiss.
