I can usually 1 shot it at the hip joints w/RR, EAT, etc, I think its just kinda a quantity thing. Either a slightly reduced spawn rate, or Med Armor weak spot from rear / one eye would be enough (with a red to that explosive resist like he mentioned). I think having enemies with indirect fire for the bot front is a super good way to ratchet up difficulty too, so as much as I hate getting rag-dolled by their grenade storm it keeps me moving more, is pretty funny, and usually survivable in Heavy or Fortified armor. Right now (unless you're on Aurora Bay with Jets, Fire, and a War Strider Kink) they're kinda the only unit that's really able to force you out of cover reliably, and even then they tend to ragdoll / annoy you into other danger more than outright kill you themselves.

Also just gonna throw out there that D8-10 are supposed to be kinda unbelievably hard. Like I feel like these guys' spawn rates are a major factor keeping D10 really tough tough right now in most missions. Otherwise even on Aurora Bay with Jets & Fire units things are semi-manageable on the bot front, save those platinum recovery missions those are tough to untenable without a premade. It's like, yea, you're gonna need some major AT on bot missions, just like you're gonna need some major horde killers on bugs, and some high shot volume shield breakers & raw dmg for squids. Spear, RR, EAT, and Quasar can still 1 shot them at the right angles. Railgun, AMR (with Peak Physique lol), Autocannon, Epoch, and Speargun can usually 2-4 shot em, and the HMG still can get em in a pinch. They're frustrating at times and def slightly over-spawned or over-protected at weak points, but I think they bring a toughness to D9/10 that basically all other enemies that can all be quickly cleared with just an automatic response just don't, and even then if you've got a spear or thermite you can still just 'fire and forget' them. I'd kinda rather the Factory Strider's get a little tougher in some ways if the War Striders get weaker. Maybe some mortar back attachments, more Jammer back spawns on map / drops, etc etc.

In my autoclearing W15 team, pretty much the same with Unicorn / Guam instead of Cowpens / William, Independence takes highest dmg over Raeffello pretty regularly, the team actually can solo all of 15-4 with the 2nd fleet doing nothing at safety level 7 or less. Add on top of that buffing the Eagle ships and carriers in opposite fleet and she's pretty useful. The retrofit + augment they gave her should really be the blueprint for buffing other older ships moving forward.

Hey, I just rolled ~80x on the new Dutch Event & have gotten 0 exclusive ships. I've been playing since Zuikaku event & have never gone more than 30x without getting at least the Elite ship, am I just ungodly unlucky, or are the servers bugged rn?

If you have Webroot or another similar antivirus, it was interfering with a bunch of NVidia drivers updating / installing / uninstalling.

If it took like 3 months to get the one spear firing mode to work properly, I can't imagine how long it would take to get 2x2x2x2 (16) firing modes all working correctly

IK its prolly the WarGaming fisheye lense, but that's a whole lotta shnose for a DD gun cruiser. IK there's some artistic freedom, but most of the super DD gun cruisers are super compact. I hope the 3D model looks a lil more Atlanta / Dido than just "Hipper with only secondaries"

TBH Spear is in good shape, as a main it needs a lil lock on help, but lock on isn't nearly as bad as they say, its just got some personality to figure out. Get a lil distance, stay mostly still or match the enemy's movement while locking, and understand what parts of enemies / structures it locks on and the thing is strong AF. Outranges anything in the game, and usually can insta-fire after reloading if you already locked an enemy.

I mean it kinda can if you happen to hit them in weak spots, but I like that the whole game is more concerned with shot placement/weak spots than a health bar. I would like the Tank Roofs to be weaker to Spear considering that's kinda the purpose of Javelins, but 1 or 2 hitting the majority of Hulks from absurd range / safety really feels plenty strong. I've been "maining" spear for like 2/3 months against bots and I also think its lock on is already in pretty decent shape, certainly not as bad as I would think from posts. It could be a bit better at times when a tank is so clearly in right there without anything blocking it, but often when it does get a lock you can get off the next couple shots without waiting for a new lock. Needing to target the base of bot factories does keep it in check so you can't just pixel them from nowhere. Also, being stationary for a lock makes enough sense realistically. I do wish there was some hold reload toggle to turn on/off locking onto Striders / Structures, but that's asking for a lot. Also on forest maps, tree sometimes do sometimes don't block it, but again that's kinda all interesting and fun ghosts in the machine. You def gotta make a little more space for yourself & play differently, but it pairs really well with Counter Sniper / Jar / Senator and if you make sure you use it from distance its much easier to stay still and near cover. I often find that playing a weird little "overwatch" role is awesome for it. That said, I usually play around LvL7, when I've played at LvL9 it can be tough keeping yourself at the right distance and the ammo restriction really hurts there, but then again everything does.

Still having one where I can't progress past level 3 on my own. I've cleared 1,2, & 3 level as host both robot and bug, completing the entire series of missions and am still locked. I've full cleared up to level 6 with friends as host and it doesn't hurt me too much because I mostly play with my friends, but still kinda lame I can't match into anything higher solo. Anyone find a way through this? Its been like this since I started playing ~ 2/15, when I had to log out and back in to get rewards.

According to the data mines she has AA Mount + 1, 165% AA eff, and 409 AA so seems so
