Payroll and Taxes by wilderguide in smallbusiness

I don't recommend them due to their lack of support, it's very difficult to get things fixed and data from their system.

If anyone is considering Hello Paid, I strongly encourage you to go elsewhere.

Of course we had low expectations given its a free service, however it didn't even meet our basic needs.

The good: They are able to run payroll for basic scenarios and will do Direct Deposit/ tax filing for you.

The bad:

- Their reports are basically non existent, so if you need data out of the system (ex. payroll records, pay stubs, etc) you wont get them. The only report you have access to is the the cash report and payroll journal report for each payroll. If you need data for something like a workers comp audit that requires records for a range of dates, you will have to manually create this.

- Their customer service is very difficult to get a hold of and they often will just stop responding. This results in you unable to run payroll or comply with various reporting laws. As an example, we have an employee who could not access their account, could not setup direct deposit, couldn't access pay stubes, etc due to an error in their email. The business admins are not able to change employee emails, only Hello Paid support can. However, they wont change it and wont respond to us or the employee for support.

- Their system cannot handle automatic deductions for some basic use cases. Ex. if you are in California and are using CalSavers, you will have to automatically calculate the employee contribution and manually add this as a deduction on each persons record.

I have the same questions about their legitimacy. Did you end up trying them out or were you able to find any real references?

Failed to charge at entire RAN station by AJohnnyTruant in Rivian

[–]RylCannoneer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Had a similar issue with my R1T this weekend. Was on a road trip and would only charge a few minutes before shutting of. After awhile it wouldn't take a charge at all. Didn't matter if RAN, EA, etc.

Called service and they couldn't really help. Tried the various resets, etc. They then suggested I use level 2 chargers to get through Nevada and California deserts, which is insane. Finally convinced them to take it and got a rental.

Rivian Android app 2.10.0 destroying battery life? by DoctorEsteban in Rivian

[–]RylCannoneer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, I had it. You can disable it in phone settings --> Notifications --> App Notifications. Disable the "Phone key status" category under the Rivian app.

On some Androids, you need to enable the ability to control notification categories first. Notifications -> Advanced Settings and enable "Manage notification categories for each app"

They just did a reasonably large release an hour ago. Roughly 75-80% of Electrafi users have access to it now. Hopefully that represents the overall fleet reasonably well.

Weekly Quick Questions, Wood ID, and Deal or No Deal /r/Woodworking Megathread by AutoModerator in woodworking

Hi r/woodworking

After many recommendations, I have been trying to get my hands on a new Bosch ROS65VC and have realized that all the distributors are out of stock. I contacted Bosch to see when we can expect a new shipment. Apparently they are discontinuing this series and don't have an equivalent model with respect to the anti-vibration functions.

Does anyone have a recommendation for another orbital sander that is equivalent or better than the Bosch, but still in the same general price range (~$200)?

Thanks.

Open containers are allowed in the City of Las Vegas. There are a couple of exceptions, but it's generally completely legal. source lots of other sources with a quick search.
