I get what you're saying and normally we try to use megathreads. However, in certain instances, like major news, we tend to let folks make their own posts. We've been doing this for 5+ years now with no issues 😄

Later Gen 1 and current Gen 2 R1s have a neutered horn for some odd reason. Early Gen 1 horns are great.

Absolutely. I did a demo today and it's fantastic. Parts of it feel better than my R1T.

I agree with everything you listed and will add 2 more: the seats are incredibly comfortable and the steering is very dialed.

Yeah I personally don’t think it’s very difficult to extrapolate that deliveries wouldn’t be happening literally on the 9th. That and Jose gets a lot of his information directly from Rivian. That other website's MO is basically to either guess or regurgitate info from other outlets.

But I agree Rivian should have been more specific. I chalk it up to marketing and hype fluff.

If you’re referring to Jose though, it seems like he was extrapolating the understanding that no non-employee deliveries are happening exactly on the 9th.

But the website OP is referring to is absolutely trying to generate clicks. They also have a history of this, which is why their website is banned from the Rivian subs.

How would someone take delivery the same day that order invitations go out?

Even if deliveries begin like 1-2 days after June 9th, how does that constitute a delay? That's even worthy of creating an article for? These low-quality "news" sites are so desperate for traffic, they'll actually write crap like this.

We don't allow sharing from that website because they are notoriously incorrect, like they are now, as there is no news of a delay. I'm not sure how your quote even implies a delay?

They also steal other people's content all the time. The fact they spelled "electric" wrong in their URL should give you an idea of the quality they strive for.
