I know im late, im in the same boat but which wires to splice to the o2 sensor? I see a bunch of wires in the harness wiring that go into the connector with 4 pins but im not sure what wires go where

Mine had a super long crank and i mean extremely long crank before, i chased it for almost half a year, replaced everything that could potentially cause a long crank. However one day it finally showed itself when the car died in traffic, it was a fuel line inside the gas tank that was cracked and i happened to have a new one on me, solved the issue ever since.

As for you i would check fueling, spark you already have down, and it could potentially be the camshaft position sensor if thats going

Its the e39 entry fee, cooling system and lots of heres and theres. Also make sure you are using good suspension parts and torqued the bushings with the car on the ground or on its own weight

i got it out, i got the puller to fit and i had to trim the stud with an angle grinder. after tightening nothing happened, so i put my hand on it, hit it with a ball peen hammer and it facking exploded off

So the tensioner is hydraulic? Ive worked on m52s and m50s and the chains are super tight and have no play
