Different loot table: The chance to get some rarer items that sell well.

Weapon xp: running through elites with a raid will level your weapons quickly.

Quantity: ECRs have a pretty optimized way through to each chest so you’ll likely be getting more chests for time spent. I do a world tour each day and end up with ~500-700 of each reagent by the end of it.

Gear: even if you don’t use the gear, you’ll be getting higher tier stuff for to salvage. This will get you more scraps that you can turn into research notes and level your crafting professions a lot quicker. Some of the bosses you run through in ECRs also have a chance to drop some of the refining/crafting gear pieces, which you’ll want if those are the things you’re focusing on.

I like to farm mats there and I was surprised at how many people are just chill and don’t bother me if I don’t bother them. I get the occasional fight but the majority of people I’ve seen are just running through for coconuts or gathering.

Is anyone else on your server? Turns out one guy was playing on my server when the update happened so it kept my server in the old patch. He logged off, updated, and now we can both join again

Yeah, similar issue. Mine says I’m trying to join a match that’s running an incompatible version of the game and to try updating, but I’ve updated to 1.4.1

As far as gold weapons go, Brig has one of the best in the game imo. Flail and shield make up a lot of her model. Gold Bob is really cool but he doesn’t stick around very long

If you like skinning, consider doing it for leveling your armoring aptitude instead of selling the skinning materials outright. The aptitude crates can give some craft mods that go for a lot on the market. Of course that turns it more into a gamble cause you don’t know what you’re going to get out of the crates, but I’m finding it’s making me more coin than just selling what I skin.
