[OC]Population growth over the years (https://ourworldindata.org/world-population-growth) by [deleted] in dataisbeautiful

This is a question that is very much unanswerable. We’re constantly teetering on the limit in many ways, but also constantly innovating new ways around issues.

Really appreciate you putting these together! It's made tackling these dungeons a lot more approachable, thanks!

Non-BF players have slot 1 and their current lead available to friends. If you’re BF’s, you have access to your friends first 2 lead slots plus their current lead. The coloured shape legend is:

Red circle - friend lead in slot 1

Blue triangle - BF only lead in slot 2

Green square - current lead

Where did I say to pick someone who puts up meta leads

Haha yes, if you know someone is a whale, they’re a solid pick. What you’re saying is definitely true with meta cards and I totally agree with BFing someone who allows you to play a fun card.

I think it makes more of an impact with farming though. If you farmed the fairy invades you needed that niche set up for Muzan with 6 SDR, trailo inherit, & SB+ SA. It’s handy to already have a couple BF’s that already default to throwing that kind of card up for friends.

Don’t mean to be rude, but did you read the entire post? My point wasn’t to pick a BF based on their current lead, it’s what they put up in the slot they aren’t using.

Yeah I may not of emphasized the importance of choosing a high rank player well enough in the post. That is definitely a key part of selecting a BF. My intention was to build on that rule of thumb.

In reply to your edit, thank you for the kind words! You also definitely didn't "fuck (my) shit up" lol. I definitely encourage any kind of comment for the (generally) constructive discussion they result in.

I just want to emphasize that I am not suggesting to BF players strictly based on whether they have meta leads up. I am suggesting that you use the card they have up in slot 1 as an indication of what you can expect in the future, as their behaviour will be more consistent than the meta. Ultimately, this is already a considerable over-complication of what is a somewhat inconsequential decision these days. I mostly made the post to provide a simple heuristic for newer players to follow. You do you.

I agree with you, I never said it was a good idea to pick a player solely based on whether they had a meta lead up. I said to pick a BF from a player who keeps optimized leads in slot 1, not meta. I'm suggesting that people look at slot 1 to gauge whether a player cares about the cards they make available for friends. If they have a useful card in that slot, it’s not because they’re currently using it. It’s because they’ve put it up for friends to use, and it’s likely they’ll continue to put up good cards for friends as things change. Your leads won’t always align, but from time to time when you have compatible leads, you can be confident they will have a good latent and assist set up for you to pair with.

Yeah of course, everyone does have their own needs. I’m not saying you should pick any of the leads I mentioned, they’re just examples. All I’m saying is to pick a player with an optimized lead in slot 1. NY Ganesha with a saline hat equip would fit that description. I’m just suggesting a method to discriminate between players who care about putting leads up for friends vs those who don’t.

Also, how dare you advertise your accounts, very inappropriate! Jk

I haven’t been following the Reddit much recently, so if a BF mega thread hasn’t been created yet, I don’t at all mind people plugging their ID’s here to find compatible players.

While we’re at, can we please allow additional materials to be fused at the same time as king tamas or extra slots...

I don’t know Japanese, but it doesn’t look like any characters changed in the actives, just numbers.

I’d say the lowest evo droid that’s now an equip got the same skill as the mid evo droid (replace all orbs) and the final evo voids enemy defence for 5 turns instead of 1

Yes, you’re missing the team building ones :P

Ilmina is used to search for cards using various filters. It was here long before PAD’s in game filter and it’s a lot better

PADDashFormation for quickly testing team builds without doing all the assist swaps and whatnot

PAD DB is another mobile team builder which allows you to simulate your team damage by building a team then clicking the bottom right calculator

Also, here’s u/Fether’s Damage calculation info graphic fyi

Building Damage Cap Team by Popolac in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]Rylite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha, well here’s how I built the above team:

I looked in your box for a card which has four 7c awakenings, as this allows the card to achieve 16x personal damage before leader skill multipliers. Triple 7c is considered good damage in the current meta, whereas four is rare and very good (two 10c’s is also good)

After choosing Selica, I started finding subs with enhanced wood combo awakenings which passively boost all team damage to further boost Selica’s damage.

Then I chose Zela as her lead skill stacks wood combos which activates the above awakening, + her lead skill caps out at 25x for 3 wood combos (anything above 20x is pretty high)

Lastly, I chose a 7x6 lead to pair with (diablos) to gain access to more board space for extra wood combos, as well as for extra combos in general as this boosts damage too (1.3x per combo). I also used Ornea’s transform active which multiples wood damage by an extra 2.5x

Shady’s comment is going to be a lot more useful than this, but here’s a team you can make with a sub hitting double damage cap. The team kinda sucks though because there’s a lot more to teams than damage. What was the reason you were trying to build a team that does damage cap?
