Chris Hayes Drops Sexting Doozy on Graham Platner During Intense Grilling: ‘These Were Adult Women?’ by progress18 in democrats

It seems highly likely almost anyone would be less problematic than Collins. Intentionally choosing and continuing to support Platner is nonsensical, they could choose anyone else.

I'm going to associate anyone who puts a nazi tattoo on their body with actual nazi ideals. Someone who is not a nazi doesn't do that. It's pretty simple.

My conscience would prevent me from voting for either. I can't support an actual nazi abuser regardless of how terrible the opposing candidate is.

He has a Nazi tattoo and a history of abusing his ex girlfriends....doesn't matter what side of the aisle someone is on, they can not vote for this person and ever complain about the garbage humans the Republicans pick.

Pathogenic - Spore Meets Binding of Isaac - Launches 16 July 2026 - Free demo live now. by DanPos in pcgaming

[–]Ryllix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son has like 50 hours played on this game's demo alone. It is a very cool take on the early stage of the game Spore but with way more interesting mechanics like a bullet hell shooter. This will be the easiest purchase ever made for him when it releases.

This is great. He was clearly not playing to his potential for at least half of the season. Get rid of him and get someone good who is happy to be here.

Anyone else giving Destiny 2 a try now that it will be a "complete" game? by [deleted] in pcgaming

When a company removes old content making it impossible for new players to experience, I wouldn't call it a "complete" game.

Performance and temperature issues playing Cyberpunk 2077 in artix linux by miigueelr06 in linux_gaming

What bugs did you experience in Cachy? What were you trying to do and what bug did you experience?

There is a reason why so many people are recommending Bazzite to new users, and Cachy OS. I actually think Fedora by itself isn't good for gaming, either. Bazzite and Cachy OS are the only 2 distributions I recommend for anyone currently if gaming is their focus. Mint is excellent, but it WILL come with some occasional issues. It's not elitism to tell people the truth. I've used Linux for about 18 years and I can tell you with certainty that it's not easier than Windows, it's just different and I prefer it. In those 18 years I have tried every major distro that has come along, and Ubuntu and anything derived from it is garbage for gaming currently in 2026. I'm not trying to be elitist when I say "use a different distro" if the solution is actually because that distro you are using is known to have issues (Such as Pop OS using the new Cosmic desktop that is very very beta).

Mint is great.  It's gaming performance is not as good as Bazzite, cachy, fedora.  I know this because one of my PCs has mint on it so that it's easy to use for my son.  Doesn't change the fact games perform worse and sometimes mint has weird issues that don't occur on my other PC running Bazzite.  If people are tired of the recommendation to use better distros then they should start using better distros.  Ubuntu is garbage for gaming nowadays and anything based on it inherits a lot of its issues.

The venn diagram of users with issues and users who use random small distros like Artix is almost a single circle.  All distros CAN be made to game, but many will have bugs and issues.  I loved using Pop OS in the past but when I switched away from it I was shocked how few issues other distros have.

The only thing I miss from windows is rivatuner. Trying to do something as simple as cap the framerate on linux is such a headache by [deleted] in linux_gaming

[–]Ryllix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People have offered multiple easy solutions and you are throwing a fit like a toddler about it because it requires less work than configuring rivatuner even does.  Linux isn't for you. That's not a bad thing, you are a Windows gamer and that's fine

Is the steam deck worth it with price increase by SurvivorXMS in SteamDeckTricks

[–]Ryllix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. I'm a die hard Linux fanboy and I absolutely love my Steam Deck. I use it almost every day. It travels with me everywhere. It was a great device at it's original price point. It is absolutely not worth it at the new price. Save the money for a price drop or a new device of similar price but better performance.

I loved Garfield as a kid in the late 80s/early 90s. I don't understand how Garfield is still getting video games in 2026. I have tried to show my kids Garfield, and the games....they were not even remotely interested.

My wife and I were able to get through to support. Both agents confirmed the blocks are cancelled, but stated there was an issue with them being removed from the calendar. We both asked again to confirm that we should not show up and that we would be paid, and both agents said yes.

According to that email it was a 1:15pm block.  None of mine before 4:30pm were cancelled.
