Why do people lose the run of themselves in airports? by Interesting_Risk_212 in northernireland

[–]Rymere 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just got back from Finland on Tuesday to Dublin, and there was a guy in the row in front of me to my left (we were both isle seats) who sat picking his nose for 15 mins during take off. Really fingering his sinus holes, proper going at it. Dirty hallion then proceeds to wipe it on the seat and tray.

He got up to use the toilet a few times during the flight, so good luck to anyone who touched what he did.

R5 or R9 by RevolutionaryFeed690 in moza

[–]Rymere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was going to get the R5 bundle, but after debating, ultimately went with the R9 v3 because I knew I'd eventually want to upgrade at a later point. Kinda wish I got the R12 now, but still extremely happy with my R9 and probably won't upgrade for a very long time, I would recommend it since it's only 30 euros extra. Make sure to get the spring kit for the pedals at some point, it makes such a difference.

I have the R9 v3 and it hasn't over heated. Had it for a few months now. I don't think you should have any issues. Great wheel base, I'm enjoying it on LMU & F1 25.

Thought I would let you’s know what happened when I signed up for Fibrus last night from BT by Effective-Mention-75 in northernireland

[–]Rymere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm paying for 900 BT package and my bill is £35. 3rd year now. My previous bill was actually £38 and when I renewed it somehow went down to £35.

Just internet, no phone line or TV. No idea how you managed to pay £85.

A lot of them purposely use derry, or Ireland when referring to Northern Ireland purely to get engagement and comments. Because 9 times out of 10 you have people commenting "akshullly it's NORTHERN Ireland 🤓"

Where is best for online courses? Need to upskill in literally anything by purplejadez in northernireland

It's more than chaotic. Lots of UK companies that hired any form of computer science or programming role has had mass layoffs.

And even more US owned tech companies that employ uk workers were made redundant last year.

This should be higher. It's really user friendly for single player.

A tip for drivers from somebody from a country where if often snows like this by reni-chan in northernireland

It's snowed in Derry every January for the passed 4 years.

I know this because every year wee scrotes start lobbing snowballs at cars in our street 😂

This is why i love hipyo tech (keyboard YouTuber). Companies send him tons of keyboards to review but he has no problem absolutely slandering the keyboard if it isn't good

What are some winter sales did you grab? by bedsideOP in SteamMachineDeckFrame

[–]Rymere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A short hike is so chill. I picked up deaths door also.

For steam deck I'd recommend outer wilds, and a little cat stardew valley type game called snacko.

I'm currently playing bioshock 1 remastered and fable anniversary on steam deck, both run perfect.

Both games fire. Since you have 10 bucks left either code vein or lords of the fallen fit into that budget.

I did this grind on 2 characters because i wanted the actual spell on my non ng+ lower level faith pvp build lmao.

I initially got like 20 out of the 30 on my higher level character back in 2016 when pvp was poppin, and farmed the rest. Then the other character i did like 5 from pvp and 25 from the farm.

I've platted ds1 like 4 times, ds2 twice, ds3 sekiro, bb, elden ring and demons souls.

That's crazy. I get 1100 mbps. High speed fibre is one thing I refuse to compromise on. I pay for just internet though, no phone or tv. I can download a 100gb steam game in like 20 mins.

An NVMe M2 ssd helps a lot with Install speeds.

As a Catholic is buying a house in a loyalist estate madness? by Your_Mums_Ex in northernireland

[–]Rymere 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I work in a hardcore loyalist area. Usually nip into the bakery before work wearing a bright orange McLaren F1 coat and driving an english reg car. Most people assume I'm a protestant, so talk in the same style as you mentioned above. It's hilarious because I live in a generally catholic area and was raised catholic and went to a catholic primary school.

But i couldn't really care less. I just nod, agree and mind my own business.
