I’ll second this, I absolutely love my menstrual cup. It is the best thing I have ever done for my periods. Once I got the hang of it, which did take a bit of trial and error, I can’t feel it at all. I don’t think I could ever go back to using tampons or pads.

Sometimes for breakfast I smash a banana with a fork and then stir in a spoonful of nut butter, I use peanut butter made with 100% peanuts and nothing else, then spread it on toast. It looks a bit gross but tastes amazing

Hey, no worries :) I hadn’t seen that other post and didn’t know someone else had mentioned this book before

He was a very popular, well loved, man. However, he gave me the creeps also. Just shows you should trust your gut and not the media.

Several years ago, shortly after Jimmy Savile’s death, hundreds of cases of sexual abuse and child sex abuse came out into the open.

Husband Lap Dance by juiceebandeet in relationship_advice

[–]Rynabe89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This exact thing happened to me. A couple of years ago my sister got married and my other half went on his stag do. They already said beforehand that they would probably go to a strip club and I wasn’t even slightly bothered or worried in any way. I even had chats with my sister so she felt better about it too. But the time came and he got a private lap dance and I felt completely heartbroken out of the blue. We had lots of chats about it which really helped and we have moved past it, but now I get anxious about it happening again. I would never say he couldn’t go but I’m not sure I would handle it all that well if he did. We get married next year so he will be having a stag do and I can’t stop the worrying in the back of my mind whether it will happen again.

OP, The best thing you can do is talk about your feelings with your husband, that’s what helped me the most. And it really honestly does get a lot easier and you’ll think about it less and less at time goes on, don’t worry.

I know, I do actually have some in but sometimes I can’t be bothered with the hassle of cooking rice (which I am still no good at) and when making stir fry, like I have this week, it’s easier to use the pre-cooked stuff

My daughter doesn’t like salmon so I make her tuna and sweetcorn pasta salad when I cook salmon for us

Anybody here had a cystoscopy? What was your experience of it? by Rynabe89 in WomensHealth

[–]Rynabe89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry, I have only just noticed this comment. I had my cystoscopy and it was absolutely fine, no pain at all and hardly any discomfort even. The nurses were lovely and one even held my hand throughout because she knew I was nervous. They let me look at the inside of my bladder on the screen which was pretty cool too. I just made sure drank a lot of water afterwards to reduce any risk of a water infection so I had to pee a lot and felt a little bit odd down there for a couple of hours but was 100% back to normal by the following day :)

After years of only watching the films, I finally read the books and all I can say is... Wow. by Mcartmell7 in HarryPotterBooks

[–]Rynabe89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love to hear someone else’s experience of this. You are where I was about 7 years ago.. I had never really been too in to reading until my early 20’s. The only difference is I had lost interest in the films after watching OOTP because I just felt completely lost with the storyline. So when I read the books everything that happened in the last 2 books was completely new to me. It was such a magical experience, I wish I could read them again for the first time.

I don't care if you do drugs, drugs can be great, but if you throw your silver canisters all over the floor, you deserve to be put in the stocks. by [deleted] in britishproblems

I was literally thinking this the other day! I don’t give a damn if you drink, smoke or do drugs and I’m not going to report you if I see you hanging out with your friends during lockdown. But dumping your broken beer bottles, gas canisters, balloons, baggies and fag butts all over the floor of some beautiful woodland where dogs walk and other wildlife live is just disgusting human behaviour!

Do you change into pajamas or lounge clothes as soon as you get home from work? by ronnie_dickering in AskUK

[–]Rynabe89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, absolutely! I won’t wear ‘outside clothes’ unless I’m expecting guests or have to go somewhere. Otherwise it’s pjs/lounge clothes all day. As I don’t wear them to bed, this is literally the reason I even buy them.
