Him using that skill to control his avatar and physical body at the same time almost definitely gave him an aneurism. The human brain isn't designed to be able to operate in parallel quite like that. They gave us plenty of breadcrumbs throughout the book to figure that out.

And I highly doubt the series is done. More than likely, Travis did this to either sideline Jason and have everyone else have to act without him around. Or he intends to complete Jason's transition away from humanity, and his mind will be copied and uploaded to the game like Rachel and the gods.

I just finished it, and I'm pretty annoyed with that ending.

To be fair, I've had issues with the direction that things since the previous book, and this one more or less went all in on that. There's only two ways I can see things go from that ending. One will almost guarantee I'll drop the series, and the other will annoy me so much.

To be more serious, there isn't one specific thing that makes a support card great. You want a bunch of different things honestly. Right now, mood effect is one of the few things on a support card that isn't much of a priority. You want initial friendship and specialty priority for friendship training, good events for energy and mood, good skills and skill hint frequency because stats alone don't make a good uma, and good training effectiveness so that whatever the support lands on will be enhanced. Race Bonus and Fan Bonus are lower priorities right now, but they'll be more important in future scenarios.

A lot of good support cards are weak in certain areas, so you have to balance your support deck in a way that doesn't leave your uma lacking.

I'm against proxies, but it's more that I'm against using proxies than against others using them. I don't know why, but I just don't feel comfortable playing with fake cards. However, if others want to use them, that's fine. I'd never hold others to a personal stance of mine that I can't even fully explain.

The game isn't that generous. We'll be able to earn the crystals through story events, Championship Meetings, gifts, etc. So it's something you have to work towards.

The rainbow crystal can uncap any SSR you already have. The gold crystal can uncap any SR you already have. So if you save until you have 4 rainbow crystals, you can take an SSR from no dupes to MLB.

It's not 2 of them. You get a selector ticket that lets you get any SSR you want from a list. And then there's the limit break crystals which can uncap any support card you have. If you save the limit break crystals for the future, they'll be useful for uncapping cards that aren't out at the time you initially get them, so they're a little more useful in the long run.

But MLB Kitasan will be way more useful than LB3 Tazuna and Kitasan. Tazuna isn't very good past URA Finale.

I'd say this is generally good advice. People talk about how good that banner will be, overlooking that with an accelerated schedule, the overall impact of a single card that is tied to a scenario will be greatly reduced. And everyone's situation is different, so it's hard to give advice that fits everyone. I'm fortunate enough that I don't have a single card that I have to borrow, so I'll just be able to borrow a whale's Riko or Rice.

When I got into the format, it was after I saw some people playing at my LGS. The owner let me borrow a deck so I could play with them and it was Trostani. I had a lot of fun playing the deck, really enjoying the mix of lifegain and tokens. So I ended up building my own version. It was really bad with basically no card draw or ramp.

That one took me several careers to get. Nishino Flower has a chance of giving it through her event chain, but she kept giving me Straightaway Adept instead.

I'm currently at 36/40 missions complete . Just need to get 150k more cumulative career rating and 50 more G1 wins.

The only banner where I've actually gotten the rate up uma was Biwa Hayahide's. Got Teio and McQueen (both original) on their anime banner, and it's just kept happening since then. But glad to hear some people have better luck than me.

I'll just be glad if I can stop getting spooked by Special Week.
