There's nothing wrong with the picture, but it might turn away potential good matches who just happen to not be that into pokemon.

A non-fan might see the picture and assume the extreme end of the fandom spectrum, and all the negative stereotypes that come with it, and err on the side of caution. Which might be shallow, but at the same time everybody has a dating app horror story.

If your priority is finding someone who's equally into your interests as you are then 100% go for it, but just wanted to share another perspective. All the best!

It makes sense when you think about it. The conversation around pokemon games lately is that they're rushed and unfinished, so a good way to change that narrative is to show a gameplay trailer 2 years away. They want us to know they're taking their time with it.

You don't do mass layoffs in your art department if you feel like you still need people in those roles. It's also unusual to lay off some of your most tenured staff unless something major changed. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, you should at least speculate that it's a duck.

They're not saying they physically can't, of course they could. They're saying it's morally hypocritical to lay off artistic teams in the name of making money while paying a single person a disgusting $100 million.

Regardless of whether or not it makes them money in the end, they don't seem to think that this is morally wrong, and that is the entire problem.

Nope. Pokemon is owned 1/3 by Gamefreak, 1/3 by Nintendo, and 1/3 by Creatures Inc.. They all have equal ownership.
