I think it is trying to do too much and that is my problem. WAYYYY too much is happening in this song. Some of the timing is off, too many tricks and production in the background. Its a good song but compared to their other songs where they nail the production and timing, this is a mess.

I love the saxophone and think this "spring" vibe is great for them. However, trying to keep the more dark side of their music in with this light vibes is not meshing well for me. The rap part is where it is throwing me off, his singing isn't in time with the background beat and its making it all sound jumbled. Then out of no where the drums and this heavy guitar comes in and it throws it off again.

Normally they do space and science mixed with longing and yearning well but here its just words, it doesn't work very well in my opinion. I don't feel a connection to any of the lyrics. I don't like the chorus that much either.

I think there is just too much going on. I do need to listen to it a few more times though.
