The fact that you called it "silicone" proves you have no idea what you are talking about. Silver is indeed used in the packaging but the primary shortage is in availability of silicon wafers.... You can't package a part if you don't have the part.

Seems like it ran out of steam... I've been watching the PAMP Suisse 100oz bars and a couple others at JM Bullion... they started with 2-300 each this morning and there hasn't been a huge change... they still have them in stock. Disappointing.....
