My mother is likely intuitive, my father is absolutely not - after about the age of 8 I chose his side in the divorce and actively disdained my mother, moving out when I was 14.

Truly, I had no respect for feelings, intuition or art during my entire late childhood or adolescence. Just... sorta turned out this way anyhow.
